Fuyumi woke up earlier than she usually would have. Touya, Fuyumi, and Natsuo all had school that day. She sighed, moving her eyes slowly around her room before hoisting herself up.She fumbles around her room for a minute before finally pulling herself into her bathroom. She gets ready for the day, washing her face and putting her hair up. Once her uniforn is on she starts to feel a bit better and makes sure her brothers are awake.
When she gets down to where her mom is making breakfast Touya is already sitting there all ready to go. Fuyumi sits next to her thirteen-year-old brother and sighs, looking around.
"Where's Natsuo?" Fuyumi's soft voice rings in Touya's ear and he turns to face her.
"Putting on his uniform right now I think. He should be down soon." Touya replies.
Fuyumi nods and Touya slips into his earlier thoughts quite easily once again. He thinks about his quirk and what he can do to strengthen it. He knows his dad told him to stop using it, but if he can prove he can be just as strong as Shoto can be then maybe his dad will finally give him a chance.
Natsuo comes bounding down the stairs, his feet hitting the wood beneath him as he slid to a stop. He grinned as he sat at the table next to Touya.
"Natsuo, there you are." Fuyumi said. "I was worried you would be late."
"Don't worry, I'm here." He said.
Their mother brought out breakfast and they all thanked her, their eyes following the plates with hungry looks. Rei looked at her children with love before remembering Shoto.
In all honesty, the white haired woman had no idea where her youngest was. Her husband had taken him out for some early morning training and there was nothing she could do to stop him. She thought about this as she washed dishes and as she waved goodbye to her oldest three.

Natsuo looked out the window during school. He already knew what they were talking about, causing him to become bored and antsy.
He smiled as he thought about how Touya was probably sitting and struggling in his math class right now. Touya had never been the math kind of smart. That was more Fuyumi and him.
His thoughts immediately dampened at the fact that he didn't know if his younger brother was good at math or not. In reality, there wasn't much that Natsuo knew about his little brother. Endeavor had always kept the boy away from the older three. He knew them as failures because they didn't hold the precious quirk that he had looked for for years. He never stopped even after Touya's quirk started hurting him. His selfish ways couldn't be stopped.
Natsuo grew angry just thinking about that. He was usually angry when it came to thinking of his father and the things he does. He didn't understand why he was the only one who felt this way, either. His mother was blinded by love, Touya looked up to Endeavor, Fuyumi seemed indifferent, and he never knew how Shoto was feeling. Even when he was able to see the kid, he always had a stone look on his face. His emotion never seemed to shine through.
Endeavor had put that kid through so much. Things he shouldn't have to deal with. In all honesty, Natsuo felt guilty that he couldn't help or save Shoto. Every time he saw Shoto, he always felt bad. He was so isolated and alone. It made Natsuo ache inside.

Fuyumi was never alone. She had friends in all her classses, happily chatting away whenever she got the chance. She ate lunch with her brothers and would always introduce her friends to them.
She loved talking and hanging out with people. When she wasn't doing her homework or hanging out with her siblings, Fuyumi was out with friends. Obviously, they never came to Fuyumi's house, but sometimes she would even be allowed to have sleepovers. It was her mom's decision.
She knew her brothers appreciated their alone time, but Fuyumi hated it. She didn't like to be alone. It made her feel lonely and icky. She just wanted to be around people.
When she was alone she was reminded of everything. All the things her dad was doing, making her youngest brother train his ass off even though he wasn't even a pre-teen yet. The kid was five, still. She knew her father didn't care, though. He just wanted Shoto to be strong.
Still she hated it. She hated hearing Shoto's cries and screams when she knew what was happening. Whenever her mom went and tried to interject, her dad would hit her. She knew that. She knew that Shoto's screaming and crying was him pushing and attacking at his father, desperately trying to keep him away from their mom.
Fuyumi tried to make it up in any way she could. She had seen that when Shoto wasn't training, he was reading. She took note and picked up on what Shoto would be reading when she saw him, and she would use that to her advantage.
She started buying books every once and awhile after school. It wasn't anything she was into, it was stuff she thinks Shoto might like. Then, late at night or when her father got called into the agency, she would leave the book somewhere she knew Shoto would find it with a sticky note. All the sticky note ever said was "shoto", but the boy knew it was his sister's doing. He knew the girl's handwriting.
He also could tell by the way it was never a book that his father would buy him, and he never really told his mom what kind of books he likes. He never talked to Touya, and, unfortunately, he barely ever saw or talked to Natsuo.
Fuyumi enjoyed watching her youngest brother appreciating and seeming intrigued by the books she would buy. It was almost like their own special way of bonding without talking to or really seeing each other much.
