CAPITULO 10: The Question And The Answer

It's been two days since our training started. Everyone manages their acads and training. Some of us-No, almost all of us, do training in our homes after school. During the afternoon we always wait for each other so we can all go home together, and so everyone is safe.

We saw Jacob and the rest inside the campus. He acted like he didn't do something terrible to Kinsley. That jerk even smirked at me as we passed by them. He acts this way because his family's power keeps him untouchable, making it impossible for anyone to put him behind bars.

Just wait. Until Kenny achieved his goal. He will definitely get rid of 'em. Speaking of him. He has been busy these past few days. He said that he was working under his Dad to show his loyalty to his family.I don't know what kind of work it is, but every time I see a crime or hear bad news, I think of Kenny-smuggling, drug trafficking, illegal gambling, and so on. There's no evidence yet, but I have a feeling he's somehow involved.

Ayaw ko mag isip ng kung ano sakanya dahil malaki ang respeto ko sa lalaking ito. He's more than a boss to me.

It's been two days too since Kinsley started living with us. She did what Akira said to her. She stopped teaching for a while and stayed at our house with my 'parents'. At first it's awkward because I'm always in the middle of the tea.

Biniro pa nga na sa kwarto ko na matulog si Kinsley at ako naman daw sa CR na lang matulog :)

Kinsley used the guest room as her temporary room. Ang saya na nga ni Caroline simula ng dumating si Kinsley kasi dalawa na daw sila berhen maria sa loob ng bahay amp! but luckily she's not anymore alone. They're helping each other especially in cooking or doing chores.

Kami naman ni Kenny tiga antay lang utos nilang dalawa but sometimes we're in the garage to clean our cars or motorbike or di kaya kami dalawa ang lumalabas kung may bibilhin importante.

"Genesis 29:20, 'So Jacob served seven years for Rachel, and they seemed only a few days to him because of the love he had for her," I read from the Bible Kinsley had given me.

I yawned and glanced at the alarm clock on the nightstand. It was already 11:36 p.m. I had been reading for almost five hours. Initially, my goal was just to find Solomon 3:4, but as I read page after page, I found myself drawn in. Reading the Bible turned out to be a surprisingly enjoyable experience. Nalibang ako hangang sa binasa ko na lahat at nag aantay na lang na makarating ako doon sa Solomon na sinasabi ni Kinsley.

I can search it sa internet but I choose to read her book. She gave it to me so I should read it. Nakalahati ko na ang libro at parang feeling ko malapit na ako kay God. Ilan na kaya merits ko kay God? Jk.

Kinusot ko ang mata at nagbasa ulit. Wala naman pasok bukas kaya dito na ako naglibang. Inilipat ko ang pahina ulit at bigla may nahulog na sticky note na kulay yellow. Kinuha ko ito at binasa ang nakasulat.

"How can something so wrong feel so right? God. Help me. This is wrong yet feels so right."

Kumunot naman ang noo ko dahil hindi alam ang ibig sabihin ng nakasulat. Ano naman kaya ibig sabihin niya dito? Siguro ay may ginawa siya na mali pero pakiramdam niya tama?

"Ay, siguro eme eme niya lang 'to." sabi ko at inipit ulit ang papel sa libro.

Matutulog na sana ako dahil inaantok na ako ng sobra pero bigla nahagip ng mata ko ang isang verse na ikina hinto ko. Napaayos ako ng upo at binasa ang Solomon 3:4.

Who could it be?

Nalilito akong nakatitig sa libro habang iniisip ang ibig sabihin niya dito. She told me it's her answer to my weird question. Ako naman iniisip anong question yun? I told her a lot of questions before kaya hindi ko maalala kung ano? Hindi kaya yung tungkol kay Cupid?
