For the rest of the mission, team 7, with the new addition of Zabuza and Haku, worked on finishing the bridge as fast as they can. After waking up, Naruto was asked by Kakashi to relay to him about what happened in the fight, 'But neither Minato sensei nor Kushina-san had Uchiha or Senju blood in them... unless they didn't know! I'll have to report this to the Hokage, and if I'm right, then Naruto can become clan heir of the Senju and can strengthen his bond with Sasuke since he is part Uchiha.' Kakashi thought to himself.
Meanwhile, Naruto was questioning how the hell was he, and a Uchiha AND a Senju, the two were supposed to hate each other. Yes, he didn't like history, but if it talked about the Hokage, then he would listen since all the hokage were known to be strong and had cool, powerful jutsu which he wanted to learn.
~Naruto's POV~
'How the hell can I have the Sharingan and THE wood release of the First Hokage!! Maybe I'm related to them in some way? Wait, because of this, then the old man would have no choice but to tell me who my parents are. Yatta!!' Naruto thought happy that he can finally learn who his parents are. Yes, Naruto knew that the Hokage knew who Naruto's parents were because one day, when Naruto was waiting for the hokage to come back from a meeting to get his allowance, he decided to snoop around. He opened a secret drawer of the old hokage that he used to hide his Icha Icha and found a birth certificate with his name on it. He pulled it upwards and only saw his mother's last name,'Uzumaki'. That's the same as his. That day, Naruto was very happy knowing that Uzumaki isn't a name he was given by the hokage. "Man, I'm hungry, and I could really go for some ramen." His stomach growled "Yeah yeah I'm going to feed you. [Shadow Clone Jutsu]" A single clone poofed into existence. "Go and get me some ramen from our stash." Naruto ordered the clone, who didn't complain and rushed to get the ramen. " Okay, now to train." Naruto then started doing the tree walking exercise to master it and better his control over his chakra. 30 minutes later, Naruto's clone came back with 5 bowls of ramen. "Here you go boss" the clone said before dispelling. Naruto then remembered going to get his ramen, bumping into Kakashi and almost spilling one of his cups.'How can I remember the clones' memories...? Unless I get what they learned after they dispel. If I'm right, then I can become stronger much more quickly' "[Shadow Clone Jutsu]" two clones popped into existence, and one of them whispered something into the other's ear then dispelled. "Okay boss, what did he say to me?" The clone asked the original, hoping that their theory is correct. "He said that 'Now that I have the sharingan, Sakura will definitely like me'" Naruto replied to his clone. The clone smiled at Naruto's response "That's right! We can definitely train with this method, and we'll become stronger and one step closer to achieving our dream" and with that, the clone poofed out of existence.
~Third person~
A few days later, Team 7 along with Zabuza and Haku, were seen standing across the now finished bridge. "We can't thank you all enough for what you've done for us, and Kakashi-san are you sure that you want to give all this money to us?" asked Tazuna. A few days ago, Zabuza and Kakashi raided Gato's mansion and took all the money they can find and freed all the hostages he kept. He even raped some of them and abused them. In the end they got about 4 million Ryo (which is about 26088.80USD), they gave the village 50% to help them rebuild. "Yeah, I'm sure Tazuna-san" Kakashi replied with a sheepish smile. "Well then off we go my cute little genin"Kakashi told his team. They started to turn their backs and walk away but not without Naruto saying goodbye to Inari "So long you little brat, and protect your mother you hear me?" Naruto told Inari as he ruffled his hair, "I will Naruto-nii, I promise" Inari told his older brother figure. And with that Team 7 and company, travelled to Konoha in high speed
3 Days later
It took them three days to travel back to Konoha and they had to stop for breaks each time since Sakura's body wasn't fit and tired out quickly. They were now walking in civilian speeds as they approached Konoha and saw the gates, "Finally, I'm home! "Naruto rushed towards the village, not waiting for the others "Naruto slow down" Sakura told him but it fell on deaf ears as Naruto was long gone. "Man, we're stuck on gate duty again. Nothing happens anymore and I don't feel the need to guard the gate" One chunin, who had a bandage on his nose complained to his friend. "Stop complaining Kotetsu unless you want to jinx our day and something bad could happen" the other chunin replied to the now identified Kotetsu. "It's just that ever since Naruto became a shinobi, the village has gone bland and boring. We all know that his pranks were ingenious and funny, and don't get me talking on his stealth. I mean how can a blonde-haired boy paint the Hokage Mountain in broad daylight while wearing a BRIGHT orange jumpsuit. Imagine if he was wearing proper ninja attire, we might never catch him" Izumo rubbed his forehead as he sighed. "Hey Izumo,Kotetsu I'm back!" a voice called out to the two chunin which made them both turn their heads to the source of the voice. "Naruto! You're back" Izumo called out to the blonde-haired genin. "How you've been guys? And is the old man in his office?" Naruto asked them as he reached them. "Bored, but now that you're here it's going to be a little fun" Kotetsu answered Naruto's question "And you'll find Hokage-sama in his office" Izumo answered his second question. Naruto bolts off, shouting "THANKS GUYS, I'LL BE SURE TO LIVEN UP THE PLACE A BIT" "Are you happy Kotetsu? Now that your blonde is back and wherever Naruto goes, trouble is never far away" Izumo asked his comrade but had no response from him. "Kotetsu? Are you listening to me? Izumo looks at his friend and follows the direction of his eyes and had his mouth gaping. Coming towards them was Kakashi Hatake, Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno but that wasn't who shocked them. Walking next to Team 7 was a boy a few years older than Naruto and next to them was the Demon of the Mist, Zabuza Momochi. The man was an A-rank nuke nin and for him to walk so casually around Kakashi means something happened on Kakashi's mission, something big.
~Hokage Tower~
Naruto quickly ran up the stairs, eagerly wanting to tell his Jiji about what happened on his mission and how he has two bloodlines. He passed the secretary who greeted him politely which he greeted back and burst through the doors. "Old man! I'm back from my mission and guess what" "What is it Naruto-kun?" the old hokage asked his surrogate grandson who seem eager to tell him. "I have a bloodline. Now I'm one step closer to becoming the hokage and making you retire" he exclaimed with his hands on the air and smiling but he didn't notice the hokage tense when he mentioned that he had a bloodline. With the motion of a finger, an ANBU, wearing a cat mask, dropped from the ceiling and kneeled in front of the old kage. "Neko, get me Kakashi NOW!" With a nod, the ANBU flickered away. "Naruto-kun how about you wait until Kakashi gets here before you tell me about your bloodline" the hokage asked Naruto with a smile on his face but inside his mind was racing 60 miles a minute. Two minutes later, Kakashi walked in with the rest of his teammates along with two new appearances which caused Sarutobi to raise an eyebrow. "Kakashi why is Zabuza Momochi in my office with you? And what's this I hear about Naruto having a bloodline?" "Good evening, Hokage-sama." Kakashi greeted with his eye smile but on the inside, he was waiting for a bomb to be dropped and a lecture about why he would send untrained genin on an A-rank mission. "As to answer your questions Hokage-sama..." Kakashi then explained what happened on the mission, from being attacked by the demon brothers, to meeting up with Zabuza but left out Naruto's wood release as he was afraid that someone could be listening. "So, let me get this straight, you sent UNTRAINED GENIN on an A-RANK mission just because you wanted to strengthen their teamwork? That's the most stupid thing you've ever done Kakashi, but we'll talk about your case later as I need to attend to the matters on hand. Now Zabuza I understand that you wish to join the village, correct? What could you give me that would help the village?" the Hokage asked with seriousness in his voice. "I could offer you multiple water jutsu, teach kenjutsu and teach people the silent killing technique but only if I want to and my apprentice has Ice Release as you've been told meaning he can restart the Yuki clan here in Konoha which would produce new Hyoton users." Zabuza also replied with the serious tone the Hokage was giving. "Very well, but you'll be on probation for 6 months and will have an ANBU squad monitoring you're movements. You are going to join team 7 and also be it's squad leader alongside Kakashi. You'll be doing the same Haku and join squad 7 and be the first six man squad in Konoha." He pulled out two headbands and tossed them to Haku and Zabuza. "All of you, except Naruto and Kakashi, dismissed" with a nod they all left but Sasuke told Naruto to come to his compound once he was done. "Now Kakashi can you give me the full version of the mission" the hokage asked. "Of course Hokage-sama but can you first tell you're ANBU to leave but Tenzo must stay" Kakashi asked with a serious expression on his face. With the flick of a wrist, all the ANBU left the room while one dropped down and the Hokage activated with privacy seals. "Now then contin-" the Hokage was interrupted by Naruto "Uhm Jiji, there's another one behind the bookshelf" Naruto said, pointing towards the bookshelf which Kakashi appeared at in a burst of speed and killed the ANBU who, unlike the regular ANBU, didn't wear an animal coded mask but it was blank and had the symbol for 'Root' on it. "Naruto, how did you know that he was there?" Kakashi asked his student "Well I sensed him, more specifically his emotions? And he kinda smelled like burnt paper?" Naruto replied to his sensei. "When did you start having this sensing ability Naruto?" the hokage asked "I've had it since I was ten. I could feel what emotions a person was having like the ANBU, Dog, who used to feel sad and regret when he saw me. He also smelled like a thunderstorm like Kakashi-sensei" The three older men were shocked that Naruto had this kind of ability, the ability to sense one's emotions and their chakra affinities. But this wasn't the first time Hiruzen see this ability. He's seen it on one person and one person only, the wife of the First Hokage, Mito Uzumaki but the affinity sensing was new since he only knew of the emotion sensing. "Well Naruto my boy, It seems that you have a rare sensing ability, one I've only seen on one person. The wife of the first Hokage, Mito Senju, formally known as Mito Uzumaki" The hokage explained and saw that Naruto was now shocked, now flabbergasted due to the revelation made to him. "How about Kakashi finishes and then you and I can talk and I can tell you the name of your mother and get you the things she left you" Naruto, too shocked to answer could only nod
