"Jiji, Pervy Sage, I planned to tell you this later, but I guess now is as good a time as any. I'm going to rebuild Uzushiogakure and become the Fifth Uzukage. I want to honor my clan and restore our homeland. I’ll revive the Royal Uzumaki bloodline there and find the rest of my clansmen."
"Don't worry, Naruto. We're here with you every step of the way, and we'll support you," Jiraiya said, looking at his godson with a proud smile.
"Jiraiya is right, Naruto-kun. We’re going to help you rebuild, and given your heritage, I’m certain the daimyo won’t hesitate to support you," Hiruzen added with a reassuring smile.
"Thank you, Jiji, and you too, Pervy Sage," Naruto said with a grateful smile.
"Wait, Naruto, how are you going to restart the Royal Uzumaki bloodline since every Royal was killed during the war?" Roshi asked
"Not every royal." Naruto said, and Roshi's eyes widened
"Who survived and where are they!" Roshi asked, happy that
"Unfortunately, she's no longer alive, but I think you do know her from her moniker, 'The Red Death.'" Naruto said with a small smile on his face
"You mean Kushina Uzumaki was one of the royal family!! Since you said that you are the one who is going to revive the royal bloodline and Kushina was the only Uzumaki on Konoha... then it means that she was your mother!" Roshi exclaimed with wide eyes
"That's right. She's my mother, and I want to make her proud by restoring our clan to its former glory," Naruto declared with determination. Then, turning to Roshi, he added, "So, Roshi, I don’t know if you’d accept, but once I’ve finished rebuilding, I’d like you to come and stay with us in Uzushiogakure. I’m not forcing you or anything—it’s your choice." He waved his hands nervously at the last part, hoping not to sound too pushy.
Roshi then kneeled in front of Naruto, shocking him. "I would do anything you ask of me, Uzukage-sama," he said, acknowledging Naruto as the future Uzukage.
"Please, Roshi, stand up. Don’t do that—I'm not the Uzukage yet," Naruto said nervously, feeling awkward as it wasn’t every day people bowed to him.
Roshi stood up, looked at Naruto, and formed a fist towards him "Kokuō says that he wants to talk to the kyubi for a moment. So fistbump me, and they will be able to talk. "
Naruto nodded and did as asked
~Naruto's POV~
The moment my fist bumps Roshi’s, everything around me changes in a way that I can't fully grasp. One second, I'm standing next to him, and the next, the world around me warps into something completely foreign. It's like being pulled into a different dimension—one where the air is thick with chakra and the ground beneath my feet shifts unpredictably. It trembles, like it’s alive, reacting to the connection between me and Roshi’s bijū, Son Goku.
I take a tentative step forward, but the ground underfoot keeps changing. One second, it’s cracked and barren like a dry desert, and the next, it’s smooth, almost metallic, like the surface of water. The terrain feels unstable, like it’s constantly adjusting to the emotions and energy swirling around us. It’s like the land is breathing, alive, shaped by our presence, and the immense power of the bijū.
And the sky—it's unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The colors swirl in every direction, deep reds, oranges, and purples clashing against one another, almost like a painting in motion. The swirling sky seems alive, too, reacting to the presence of both Roshi and me. I can feel the immense chakra filling the air, making everything pulse with energy. Every time I blink, the colors change, reflecting the mood and the raw power of the bijū.
