Chapter Three: The Auction
"Why are you looking at me like that?" Stefan says pulling out his sunglasses out of his pocket. His manager giving Stefan a judgy look. "The way you called out that doctor. It wasn't nice. She looks extremely professional and very obedient, determined" he says.
Stefan huffs. "Don't care. She deserves her own taste of medicine. She's messing with my career" Stefan says whistling to some tune. His manager huffs. Typical arrogant Stefan Salvatore. "You don't have to seduce her you know like that. It was low of you. What if she opens her mouth on Twitter, Facebook. You know how people use their platforms to butcher any public figure to the ground" he says.
"One" Stefan raises his index finger "I don't care" he raises his middle finger "Two, I don't mind being the talk of the town and three" he raises her ring finger "You don't start me with seducing. You're the one who seduced my sister now you're going to marry her." Stefan finishes. His manager roll his eyes. Yes, it's true. He did seduce Stefan's sister. Bonnie Bennett. His half sister. Stefan and Bonnie share the same mother. Stefan's mother's boyfriend is Bonnie's biological father. Stefan's mother left Stefan's father when she was carrying Stefan. She left Stefan's elder brother Damon too. It was heartbreaking but they got over it.
"And what I did to Elena it wasn't even seducing. If I start seducing her she'd be on her knees sucking my dick as long as I want her to" Stefan says with a pride smile on his face. He closes his eyes. Klaus roll his eyes. Stefan starts to picture what would be like bringing a doctor on their knees to finish him. Would she be wearing her apron and surgical scrub and nothing inside. So hot. He imagines and smiles seductively.

"Caroline, that's enough. You're a senior surgeon, act like one." Elena says turning back to change her clothes. It's getting late. She was supposed to go home early.
"Softest girl lol" Caroline giggles holding on to her stomach "Who even says something like that" she says. Elena frowns as she starts taking her shirt off leaving herself in bra. Suddenly Caroline gropes Elena from behind. "Care, what are you doing?" Elena flinches of her sudden grope. Caroline messages Elena's skin a bit. "Just confirming it. But oh God! Elena, you're really soft." Caroline says. Elena slaps her hand.
"He's disgusting. This is what they do you know. They always think they can get everything. He thought seducing me or having some fatal attraction of him on me would make me give him what he wants but it's making me mad even more. I can't wait to crush him down." Elena makes a hard face. She loves to take challenge. Her life is been challenging since she was in her diaper. She doesn't mind taking a risk. And Stefan Salvatore is nothing literally nothing.

He fixes his widely bordered headcap as he gets in. He looks around to see if he sees her. He checks the board to see where doctor Gilbert can be. But no, her name isn't there. He also checks up on her room she stays in. He scoffs. Why isn't she here?
Suddenly she notices a young doctor. He clears his throat. She turns back. "Hello, doctor can you..." He cannot finish what he wants to say because this girl is about to scream.
"Oh my God!" She yells. Stefan brings his finger on his lips making her shush. She controls her scream when she notices couple of eyes are on her. "Stefan Salvatore" she whispers the excitement in her eyes is so clear.
Stefan smirks. "Yes and you're.." he checks her nameplate "Doctor Devi" he touches it which makes Devi almost fall on his arms.
"You're really pretty, Devi. It's nice to meet you" Stefan says raising his hand. Devi shakes his hand with hers. "Pleasure is mine. I'm biggest fan of yours. I even made a tattoo of your name on my back" she says excitedly, turning back a little to show him. Stefan smiles in his teeth, must be painful he thinks.
"I'd love to chat with you but Devi can you tell me where can I find doctor Gilbert. You know her right?" Stefan asks. Devi throat gets dry. "Umm.. you'll find her at the auction near the southern beach hotel at evening" Fatema says coming behind Devi.
"Thank you, Fatema. I'll see you both around" Stefan says smiling and winking at Devi.
As soon as he leaves, "Why did tell him about her, Fatema? We're having a good time" Devi whines. A little jealous upon Elena. Because clearly Stefan is into her specially after the hospital incident between those two.
"D, we both know he came here for Doctor Gilbert only because he wants her permission which she's not going to give him" Fatema says. Devi whines "Why is she such an ass!! makes me want to snap her neck" Devi makes a fist and thuds in the counter. "Yeah I don't know" Fatema scratches her head "But if we don't finish the assignment, she has given us. I'm sure the heads would be ours to snap. Come on! Let's go" Fatema says dragging Devi with her.

"Klaus, I need to be in that auction, arrange it now." Stefan says as he sends a voicemail to Klaus his manager.
He goes back to his home. Picks out a black suit, white shirt, black tie. Elena's a broody so of course black and white could be her weakness.
Elena stands in the mirror looking at herself. She's wearing a black dress, semi thin straps but looks presentable and professional. She doesn't like to go parties, gala's or auctions. Couple of shots at The Mikaelson's with Caroline her colleague, gets her through the day. But the board has selected her to attend this time. She could not refuse because board agreed to her to not let Stefan shoot in the hospital so she feels like she owes this one to them.
A very little make up, a professional hair bun, a black purse and high heels. She's done. She gets out of her apartment, gets into her black Audi. She loves to drive by herself. She feels confident.

Elena's chatting to some old people she doesn't know much about. They're senior doctors. They're talking about their experiences. She only stands there and listens. Kind of getting bored though.
"Now we're welcoming to our special guest Mr. Stefan Salvatore" the host says causing Elena chokes on her champagne. She turns back to see and chokes more. There he's. He shouldn't be here. Why is he there?
Stefan comes to the stage makes an eye contact with her and winks at her.
Elena's giving him the deadly glare taking as she gulps her champagne.
This night isn't going to be over anytime soon.
