The boys remind me of being back at University all the banter and innuendo. They all seem surprised that I find them funny. I am used to it all growing up with all male friends they were jokes I knew all too well.
"So Gabs what made you choose Australia?" Michael asked. "Well besides the hot, talented guys and the improved weather."
"Hot? Talented? That is over exaggerating for a start. The weather fair enough." I smile cheekily. "I need a new adventure and my family need to let me spread my wings. We are close sometimes too close."
"What do you mean over exaggerating?" He waves his hand in front of his body as if that explained it all as you follow it with your eyes.
"She has probably seen better." Calum sniggered. I look at him then at Michael.
"He is right you aren't bad I just don't want to inflate your egos." I wink. Michael hears a knock at the door.
"Pizza yes." Michael and I yell virtually at the same time. The rest of the boys look at us surprised at our united love of Pizza. Michael gets up and heads to get pizza. Leaving me alone with the other three.
"So are you going to do the typical tourist stuff until your flight?" Ashton ventured. I shrug and pull my knees up to my chest.
"I just like to wander around and see what I find. I people watch too it makes good inspiration for my writing." I look up to see them all staring. "What?"
"Nothing." They all chorus back.
"Maybe we could give you a guided tour, we have the day off tomorrow." Calum mumbles.
"I couldn't ask you to do that, you have families and friends to see." I insist looking adamant.
"You aren't asking we are offering, give me your phone." Calum holds out his hand. I pass over my phone without knowing why. I watch him typing into my phone.
"What are you doing?" I look at him with confusion.
"Giving you Michael's number so we can show you the sights tomorrow." Calum smiled.
"Does he know? I am sure you don't think around here has sights of any kind so why show me?" I raise an eyebrow in their direction. Michael walks back in with a large pizza box and puts it down between us all on the porch.
"Mikey we gave your number to Gabs as we are showing her the sights tomorrow. No we don't think around here has sights but we like you, you're cool. We are welcoming you to Sydney early." Calum looks at Michael who looks like he isn't bothered by the situation at all.
