i destroyed myself,
because of you.
the artist,
became art.
the colour of crimson red,
familiar to my eyes.
didn't want to crash,
because of you.
but i destroyed myself,
because of you.
the art on the page was never there,
but it showed through,
on my heart,
from where you burnt it,
with your words.
and your actions.

streetlights dull,
mind lost and full.
music calms my soul.
rain pouring down on my heart,
praying for a new start.
no more hurt,
just the feeling of lyrics,
humming in my brain.
wishing for a new start,
a world of peace,
a heart of love.
no more devils,
in my eyes.
