Alisha Blanch has been writing and reading since she knew how to. She grew up in NSW Australia where she lives with her sister and grandparents. Alisha's works are haunted by her past traumas, relationships and friendships that never lasted. Alisha hopes to release her second poetry book (Viridity ; a book of poetry and prose pt.2) in late 2024 to mid 2025, and her fantasy novel 'asterinia' is still being written and worked on but she hopes to have it published eventually (date/year unknown). Alisha wrote this book to share her writing with the world and allow people to connect through poetry, her poems also reflect on her dark times suffering with mental health, toxic relationships, and her general feelings, thoughts and expressions.
This book proves that you can go through millions of rough patches in life, fall down so many times and think that you can't go any further, it proves that no matter what you go through, you can get back up and live your dreams.
Even though the dark can swallow everything up and stop you from seeing the light, the stars are still there. You are one of those stars, you shine brightly through the darkness. Believe in yourself, be yourself and don't let anyone get in your way. Stand strong and be strong.
