Sebastian POV

The sun shining it's rays through the dormitory window and though the small opening of emerald green bed curtains directly into Sebastian's eyes had him groaning in protest. He had drank entirely too much the night before and was currently victim of the worlds' worst headache, the bright light of the sun now becoming his enemy.

"Quit your complaining Sebastian, you've brought this on yourself." The equally groggy voice of Ominis Gaunt rang out from behind his own bed curtains, followed by a wince which Sebastian took as he too had his own headache.

Sebastian let out another groan before sitting up in his bed, bringing his hands up to press the palms slightly into his closed eyes to help dull the ache there. "'morning to you too Om." he rasped, watching the colors swirl behind his eyelids.

It took more time than Sebastian would ever admit for him to remember some details of the previous evening, most of the memories being a bit of a blur. But one thing was for sure, the light scent of honeysuckle perfume on his sheets told Sebastian that he didn't go to bed alone.

The scent hitting his nostrils had Sebastian jolting with a start, he whipped his head around and noticed he was alone in his small bed, but the other pillow and upturned corner was evidence enough someone, no Kate, had been there.

Mouth turning slightly into a frown at the empty space, Sebastian opened his bed curtains and took a glance around the room, noticing his clothes from the night before strewn about the space but no sign of Kates.

His heart beat started to pick up and Sebastian began to panic, did she perhaps regret it? The events kept flashing in his mind and he could practically feel the softness of her skin still on his fingertips and the little noises she had made ringing in his ears. Sebastian's face heated up as the memories flooded his mind and he could say he didn't regret it. But maybe it had been too spontaneous? Too soon or too much?

There was still so much left unspoken between them and they both had been of unclear mind and maybe waking up in the Slytherin dorms had startled Kathryn, and she fled from regret and embarrassment?

Sebastian couldn't stomach the thought that he had unintentionally forced her into something and he started to feel sick. He would have to find her later and apologize, but first he needed a shower.

"She's at quidditch practice." Ominis' sleepy voice rang out into the room again.

Furrowing his brows, Sebastian looked toward his friend. "What?"

Ominis let out a small scoff before opening his curtains to poke his head out. "I said she's at quidditch practice. I can hear you spiraling. It's Hufflepuff's last practice before their first game, Kathryn left earlier this morning."

Sebastian blinked. He and Ominis' relationship had been rocky since he came back to school, sometimes they would have moments like this where Sebastian had hope things would go back to normal, and other times Ominis would be cold and distant from him. Sebastian understood though, he had lied to Ominis and broken his trust and coming back and expecting normalcy between them was too much to hope for, he was just glad his best friend didn't shut him out completely.

"Oh." Was all Sebastian could think of to say, but the realization did ease the nauseas feeling he had just a little. Then he registered what his blonde best friend just said. "Wait a minute, how come you know Hufflepuff's practice schedule?" he couldn't help the teasing inflection in his voice.

Ominis' cheeks flushed lightly and Sebastian couldn't help but grin at the sight. He knew the other boy had a small obsession with Isaac Cooper, the Captain of the Hufflepuff quidditch team. Ever since Third Year Ominis would spare no opportunity to gush about the raven haired boy's achievements.
