A Couplet

You couldn't stay because you said you still love him.
Have I not love you enough for you to forget about him?

You couldn't stay because you said it was unfair.
Was it fair to left me in cold despair?

You couldn't stay because you said I don't deserve you.
Did I deserve to be broken just by loving you?

You couldn't stay, you just couldn't stay.
Now, I'm left here—cold and broken—night and day.
