The door shut behind her as she stepped into the dimly lit living room, her body aching from the night's exploits. Vixey could still feel Duke's hands on her, his scent lingering like a ghost in the air. Her thoughts were a whirlwind of emotions when she heard a low growl from the shadows.

"You reek of him," Lance's voice was cold, cutting through the silence like a knife. He emerged from the darkness, his eyes burning with an unspoken fury. "Get upstairs and shower. Matt will be here any minute."

She flinched at his tone but obeyed without question, heart pounding in her chest. As she hurried up the stairs, the sound of Lance's footsteps echoing behind her. Once in the bathroom, she turned on the shower, letting the steam fill the room as she stripped off her clothes. The water cascaded over her fur, washing away the remnants of Duke's touch.

As she washed, her mind wandered to her brother, Codi. It had been too long since she last saw him, and the thought of reuniting filled her with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Her mother was gone, but she hoped father had taken care of him. The thought of seeing her family again made her heart ache with longing.

Dressed in fresh clothes, she descended the stairs to find Lance waiting for her, his expression unreadable. "Hurry up," he snapped, grabbing her arm and pulling her towards the door. "Matt's already outside."

The drive to her family's house was tense, filled with an uncomfortable silence that neither her nor Lance seemed willing to break. Vixey's mind raced with questions about what awaited her, while Lance's grip on the steering wheel was tight, his knuckles white.

They arrived at the familiar house, its once vibrant facade now faded and worn. Her breath caught in her throat as she stepped out of the car, heart pounding with anticipation. Lance followed closely behind, his presence a constant reminder of the tension between them.

As they approached the front door, it swung open, revealing Codi. His face lit up with a smile as he saw Vixey, and he rushed into her arms, tears streaming down his face. "I've missed you so much," she whispered, holding him tightly.

Lance watched from a distance, his expression softening slightly as he observed the reunion. But his eyes soon hardened again, a flicker of something dark passing through them. He cleared his throat, breaking the moment. "We should go inside," he said, his voice gruff.

Inside, the house felt empty, the air heavy with memories. Father was nowhere to be seen, but she didn't let that dampen her spirits. She and Codi caught up, sharing stories and laughter, while Lance remained aloof, his gaze constantly drifting to her.

As the evening wore on, the atmosphere grew charged with an unspoken tension. Lance's presence loomed over them, his eyes never leaving her form. When Codi excused himself to use the restroom, Lance seized the opportunity.

"We need to talk," he said, his voice low and urgent. He grabbed her arm, pulling her into a nearby room and closing the door behind them. The room was dimly lit, shadows dancing across the walls.

"What are you doing?" She hissed, trying to pull away, but Lance's grip tightened.

"You know exactly what I'm doing," he replied, his voice a dangerous whisper. He pushed her against the wall, his body pressing against hers. "Reclaiming what's mine."

Vixey's breath caught in her throat as Lance's lips found hers, his kiss forceful and demanding. She struggled against him, but his strength overwhelmed her. His hands roamed over her body, exploring every curve, igniting a fire within her that she couldn't deny.

"Lance please, not here," she gasped, but her words were lost in the heat of his touch.

Suddenly, a knock at the door interrupted them. "Vixey, is everything okay?" Codi's voice called out, concern evident in his tone.
