chapter seven

"What is she talking about?" I ask him, still wondering if I really wanna know the answer. He just stands there and Victoria just looks at us with a wicked smile on her face looking towards Blake.

"Are you going to tell her, or should I tell her?" She asks.

"Will someone just tell me what the hell is going on!" I shout at the top of my lungs over the loud music.

"Maybe we should go outside for this." Blake says and the three of us go outside to find out the truth.

"Well?" I say again when we get outside.

"When Victoria and I were dating," he begins and takes a deep breath before he continues, "I found out that she was cheating.."

"I wasn't cheating," Victoria cuts in, "He was my cousin!"

"Who kisses their cousin?" Blake yells back.

"It was a mistake. I was drunk. You almost killed me!" She blurts out and if my adrenaline wasn't already up, oh boy it is now.

"What?!" I shout at the top of my lungs.

"Admit it, Blake." Victoria says.

"Okay, after I found Victoria cheating on me with her cousin, I got really mad." Blake admits.

"And then what happened?" Victoria asks with furrowed brows.

"I was drunk, I started yelling, and then all of a sudden I had my hands around her throat." He admits and Victoria places her hand around where he grabbed her.

"Look, Alexis. I didn't know what I was doing. I never touched a women like that before. Victoria was my first real love," He pauses and continues, "I just snapped. I went to therapy and I haven't been in a relationship ever since. Then I met you." He grabs my hand and looks at me straight in the eyes.

"Ew, you really believe that crap? He put his hands around my throat! I almost blacked out!" Victoria screams and then I'm the one who cuts in.

"Listen, thank you for telling me this. I'm sorry what he did to you. You didn't deserve it and he's sorry."

"He could do it to you too!" Victoria is still screaming.

"No he won't." I say, looking at Blake in his eyes.

"What, you start dating him for a couple of months and think you know him that well?" Victoria spits.

"No, I don't know him that well. But I'm trying to." I say.

"He's not truthful. He keeps everything to himself." She goes at it again and I feel like punching her right in the mouth.

"Just go Victoria." I say trying to keep my tone cool.

"Ugh! Fine! You're just a hoe!" She finally says and goes back inside the club.

"You're not mad?" Blake asks that's nearly a whisper.

"No. I'm just happy that you're honest with me. That's what I love about you the most." I tell him meaning it.

"I love you so fucking much, Alexis." He says before pressing his lips to mine.

"Woah, there you guys are. I was looking everywhere for you guys." Kristen says coming out of the club with three drinks on her hands.

"What are you guys doing out here?" She asks handing us our drinks.

"Oh, Blake, did you see Victoria in there?" Kristen asks again after taking a sip of her drink, "I never liked that bitch."

Blake and I  exchange looks and I lay my head on his shoulder taking a few chugs of my wine cooler. Wow, what a night.
