Katherine left Tara's room when the two Carpenter sisters wanted to have a heart-to-heart talk. Amber kept holding her hand the whole time, as if afraid that Sam's arrival would change something between them.
Nothing like that.
Murphy loves Freeman, she was her safe haven. a place where you could relax and not expect to be stabbed in the back. Full trust and love.
Yes, the redhead may not have realized how much she really missed Samantha until she saw her again for the first time in five years, but that doesn't mean that her feelings for Amber suddenly became more insignificant or unnecessary.
— Hey, baby, let's go to your room. — Freeman beckoned in a sweet voice, pulling his girlfriend by the hand away from Tara's hospital room, away from Sam. — The guys wanted to go to the bar later, you know, get drunk and play billiards. — The brunette giggled and, slamming the door, gently pressed Katherine against the nearby wall. She put her hands on her waist and grinned. — I miss your kisses. Don't you want to remind me? — Amber pursed her lips, clearly hinting that she wanted a new, intense kissing session with her girlfriend.
Murphy just smiled, wrapped her arms around her lover's neck and pulled her to him, joined their lips. She tangled one hand in her dark silky hair, doing it every time they kissed.
Usually Freeman liked to take her time, enjoy, savor the process. She slowly moved her lips, persuading her girlfriend to open her mouth a little and after that slipped her tongue into her mouth.
Today's kissing session was no different from the others, except that it was even more reverent and attentive, given the injuries of the redhead.
Or maybe it was influenced by the arrival of Samantha, Katherine's former love interest. Amber seemed to be trying to show off, to show that she would still be the same gentle and courteous, and would not fall into rudeness because of jealousy.
Although Murphy herself asked Freeman on several occasions when she was in such a mood to be more passionate, rougher, deeper.
The brunette pulled the redhead towards her, barely noticeably pulling her by the waist. She slid a scattering of short kisses down her cheek and whispered in her ear a quiet «let's go to bed».
Freeman put her fingers under Murphy's chin, pressed a little on her jaw, forcing her to lift her head, and began to slide her lips over the skin. Leaving footprints wasn't in her plans yet.
The brunette left a tremulous kiss under her girlfriend's ear, where she knew she had a weak spot. A kiss there could turn a redhead into a solid obeying mess.
A new kiss was expected, and it didn't take Katherine a second to put her arm around Amber's shoulders again and start moving her lips in response. She shifted a little on the bed, feeling an annoying throbbing in the side of her stomach, where she had been stabbed just yesterday.
Freeman's lips urge Murphy to stop thinking, to stop overloading herself with thinking about everything that happened and a variety of thoughts, and she succumbs, plunging headlong into a kiss with her lover.
The brunette pulls back to catch her breath and, with a loving grin, begins to examine the gasping girl under her with an attentive gaze. The redhead is embarrassed and closes her eyes, immediately feeling the already familiar mouth on her own again.
Amber pulls back again, opens her eyes and looks directly at the pendant that she gave to her girlfriend, and smiles. She hums something to herself, runs her finger first along the chain, going down to Katherine's pendant, which she took between her fingers and began to examine carefully.
