(This was Back When Poppy and Branch were Kids) An Early 4th of July Special

It was Time for the 7th Anniversary of Escaping the Troll Tree and finding a new home. Every Anniversary the Trolls have A Firework Show. Which Branch of course always thought it was A stupid idea. He thought that it would definitely attract the Bergens.

Plus he didn't like that the fireworks were loud. It hurt his sensitive ears.

And he didn't like seeing everyone having fun... with their families... While he was all alone...

Earlier before the fireworks show, The Grey Kid Needed to collect some extra berries for his small Bunker. Which unfortunately means he's going to have to go near the village. He hated how the other Trolls Stared at him and would try to talk to him.

Branch: Ok, it looks like everyone is distracted setting up the firework show... Now's my chance.

Branch Quickly ran over to some Berry bushes and began filling up his backpack as quickly as possible. But then he saw two magenta eyes peeking through the bushes at him.

Branch: 😧

Poppy: *Leaps Out of the Bush* Hiiiii Branch! ☺️

Branch: Oh No! Not You! *Runs Off*

He Tried running from the Princess, But Somehow She Appeared right in front of him.

Poppy: Hi Branch! Whatcha Doing?! :D

Branch: How?! 😨

Welp, The Grey Boy knew he definitely wasn't getting away from her Now. So he might as well listen to what she has to say.

Branch: What Is It Poppy? -_-

Poppy: Well... There's Going to Be A BIG Fireworks Show Tonight! Do you want to watch it with us?

Branch: Poppy, I've been asked this question every year, and The Answer is always gonna be Nooooooooo.

Poppy: But There Will Be Games! And Songs! And- ☹️

Branch: No. *Eating Some Berries From His Backpack*

The Young Princess Looked At The Grey Troll's Tummy, And saw that he looked Really Skinny. You could almost see his ribs.

Poppy: You Look Hungry! You know, There Will Be All Kinds of Delicious Food At The Fireworks Show! Funnel Cakes, Cotton Candy, Cake Pops... 😄

Branch: *Feels Like He's Being Made Fun of* Oh Yes! It Must Be Nice To actually Have People Cook For You, Isn't It? 😒

Poppy: Huh?

Still being innocent, Poppy didn't know that Brach was Malnourished. Since he lost his Grandma he hasn't been able to Eat Junk Food and Sweet Treats like Trolls are supposed to.

Branch: Just leave me alone and go have fun with your Friends and Family! Attract A Bergen while you're at it! 😠

Poppy: Branch. Why are you so angry? 😥

Branch: I'm not Angry! Just go!

Poppy: But it's not fair that you never got to see the pretty Fireworks! You deserve to have fun just like everyone else!

Branch: I don't like fun! So leave me alone!

Poppy: Ok... Maybe next time... *Leaves Disappointed*

Branch: *Sighs*

Later that night it was time for the Fireworks Show. Trolling's were running around playing with Sparkler wands. 🎇 Older Trolls were lighting Fire Crackers. 🧨 Families were sitting down eating delicious Funnel Cake together. Everyone was having A blast!
