Prologue - Chapter 6: A Move-In Struggle

Alex POV:

Watching Yuu and Grim fight the Ghosts was oddly amusing, but eventually things started coming to an end. "Myaaah!" Grim says as he blows fire at the ghosts again. "Hwaaahhh! We gotta get out of here! Before we get disappeared for good!" the ghosts say before leaving. "H-huh? Did we... win?" Grim asks hesitantly as he opens his eyes.

"That was incredible!" Yuu said, taking in gasps of breath. "Aw, geez, I was scared outta my- I mean, they didn't faze me one bit! Just a walk in the park for a mage of my caliber! Whaddaya got to say now, ghosties? That's right!" Grim says. "Good evening. In another gesture of my immense kindness, I have brought you dinner. Wait. That's the creature we ejected for causing trouble at orientation! What is it doing here?!" Crowley says, catching me and my friends off guard, we didn't even hear him arrive.

"By the gods! Don't do that!" Carmin yells. "Takin' care of yer ghost problem, that's what. You're welcome, by the way!" Grim says. Crowley had decided to ignore Carmin, in which I wrapped my arms around her and held her close. "What is the meaning of this, Yuu? But you know, on that topic, I do seem to recall that this dorm had a mischievous ghost problem. Ah, yes... That's why it was abandoned, in fact. The ghosts scared away all the students. And you're saying that you two joined forces to drive them away?" Crowley asks.

'So this dude knew the whole time and didn't think about it? By the gods, next time I'm gonna let Carmin attack him' "'Joined forces' ain't exactly how I'd describe it. More like I drove 'em away, and the human watched. And I only did it 'cause I wanted some tuna. Hey... Wait a minute! I never got those cans of tuna ya promised!" Grim says.

"Would you two be so kind as to demonstrate your ghost-eradication methods for me?" Crowley asks. "One, no, 'cause I already wiped 'em all out. And two, no, 'cause where's my tuna?!" Grim replies. "I will play the part of the ghosts. As for the tuna, you'll receive it when you defeat me. Oh, what generosity, Crowley...Now, to chug this transmutation potion!" Crowley says before drinking the potion.

"Ah, you gotta be kiddin' me. I gotta work together with the human again?" Grim whines as Crowley floats around in his new ghost form. "Do it for the tuna, Master sorcerer!" Yuu encourages, although is sounded more like mockery. "Hrmph. All right, but this is the last time. And I better be up to my jowls in tuna afterwards!" Grim says before starting to fight alongside Yuu again.

"Popcorn?" Jackson asks while holding out a bag of popcorn he got from somewhere. "Sure, why the hell not?" I say while eating the popcorn. Carmin also takes from the popcorn while the fight goes down.
