Prologue - Chapter 8: First Day at School

Carmin POV: Last night was wild, after the little fiasco that went down with the ghosts and Crowley I ended up going back to my dorm, which would be very Aphrodite approved. When I got there I was almost immediately scolded for turning in very late before getting shown my room, which was very beautiful. Too bad it's probably gonna be messy tomorrow, anyways, these people and their beauty rules are off the charts, it's almost as bad as when Drew was Cabin leader of Aphrodite cabin. Anyways, I got ready for the day, dressing in the required attire, which is vastly different from camp. Then I got my breakfast and got out as fast as I could. Now I'm walking around campus.

....Alex POV: After the events at Ramshackle Dorm I was escorted to my dorm by one of the nice ghosts. When I had arrived there it seemed my joyful Housewarden and annoyed Vice Housewarden were waiting for me. I apologized for the inconvenience and they showed me my room, I thanked them and went to bed. This morning I got up and went through my new routine with my dormmates, which was vastly different from camp, but I don't mind. Now I'm walking around the campus with Carmin and Jackson.

....Jackson POV: I stayed really late at Ramshackle Dorm, repairing the floors and ceiling. When I did eventually get to my dorm no one was waiting, I just looked for the door with my name on it and went to bed. This morning I woke up, no one was around so I just did my own routine before everyone else had to leave and left early. Now I'm walking around camps with my friends, Ignis sleeping on my shoulders and the Kerkopes playing and swiping things from Carmin and each other as we walk.

....3rd POV: "So I hear you'll be living here from now on? Hope you like pranks as much as we do! Hya ha ha!" one of the ghosts says waking Grim up. "We gotta get rid of those things for good!" Grim complains. "Good morning, Yuu. Did you sleep well?" Crowley asks after appearing out of nowhere. "Not at all! When I sprawled out on the bed, the mattress fell right through the frame! Exactly how ramshackle IS this dorm? And worse yet, we got woken up by ghosts!" Grim complains.

"I didn't sleep well either!" Yuu says. "Well, it's understandable you'd be anxious after being pulled into such an unfamiliar place. But the world can be cruel sometimes. So suck it up and move on! Now, speaking of moving on, let us discuss your assignment for today." Crowley says while walking out to the lounge.

"Your job today is to clean the campus. That said, the campus is vast, and without magic, it'd be quite the Herculean task to clean it all. Therefore, today I'll have you focus on the area spanning from the front gates to the library. Now, Yuu...I do expect that you'll keep a close eye on Grim, lest he cause another incident like yesterday." Crowley explains. "I can't promise much..." Yuu mutters.

"Do not fail me. You may take your lunch in the cafeteria. I eagerly await the fruits of your labor." Crowley says happily before leaving. "Hrmph. I ain't cleanin' nothin'! I'm here to study magic so I can be blastin' off spells left and right! Like BAM! POW! FWOOM!" Grim says. "After we clean, we can study in the library." Yuu says as he gets ready to leave. "Hrmph." Grim pouts.
