It was my first day in the office today. I didn't want to get late, so I was already in a hurry. I woke up at four today to do all the household chores before I left.
I remember once I left for school as I got late, without doing the household chores, my mami beat me with the whipping stick when I came back. I was in ninth standard that time.
It was my last day when I got beaten because of this reason. Anyway I don't wanna remember past. I left the house at 8 as I had to travel through local and Mumbai locals, can be late anytime and I can't take any chance so I left early as I had to reach before 10.
I entered the office and went to the receptionist and asked her about Chetan Mahajan as I was informed to meet him. She asked me to go to the top floor where he will be as I nodded and headed towards it.
"Good morning sir" I greeted Chetan Mahajan as soon as I reached the floor and saw him standing on the reception already.
"Good morning Ms. Radhika how are you?" He asked with a gentle smile on his face.
"I'm good what about you sir?" I asked back. He replied with a bright smile and asked me to follow him to his cabin as he gonna instruct me my work now.
I nodded as I started to follow him. He seems to be a nice man. But still he is my boss and I need to treat him like that otherwise we never know what happens next.
"So Radhika, this is your cabin" he stopped beside one cabin and gestured me towards it. I looked through the class door as it does looks luxurious.
"See it later but first come I'll tell you your work then I have to do mine too" he said interrupting my trace as I nodded being embarrassed.
What he might be thinking, how I was peeking inside. Alash! Radhu leave it don't think about it anymore otherwise it will be a headache for you.
I started to walk when I suddenly I held a phone ringing but it wasn't mine so I looked around to search for the owner I know it shouldn't be mattering to me but still I'm looking for it. This indicates how free I'm.
"Good morning sir?" Chetan sir said putting a stop to my moving neck as I looked towards him who was now on the call.
"Okay sir" he said before hanging up the call as I guess the other side might be his boss, yeah our boss or my big boss.
"Radhika come sir has called us in his cabin" he said as he started to move towards the corridor.
"Which sir?" I asked, not able to stop my curiosity.
