Abhimanyu pov
After ignoring the media, I came back home. Ma came and hugged me followed by everyone. I took blessings from my Dadu and Dadi and my parents.
I hugged my siblings. Now I'm searching for that one person, As far as I didn't see her till now. Searching for someone bhai, amu asked me in a teasing tone. What no, I said. Everyone gave me a teasing look, now my ears are turning red.
She went to the hospital as she had an emergency, Dadu said with a teasing smile. I nodded. Maan beta go and freshen up we will have breakfast, Ma said. I nodded and went upstairs.
I came inside my room, a fresh smell of water lilies hit my nostrils, I could feel her presence in this room. She changed my room completely, I thought.
I feel like it's my kanvi, my room is clean and usually my room will be a little messy. I went towards the balcony and the fresh air hit me. I can see there are new plants, also there are paintings on the wall, I smiled at her childishness.
I went inside the washroom to freshen up then a strong lavender smell hit my nostrils.
Why am I feeling like it's my kanvi? I wore my clothes and went down and had breakfast with my family, but she was missing. After a while I came to my room and lay on the bed then suddenly something pierced me, I picked it up, it was a sunflower plucker, I smiled and closed my eyes.
When I opened my eyes, I saw Dadi who was caressing my hair.
Dadi, aap yeha kya rahe hai, I asked. ( dadi, what are you doing)Thinking about my manners, she said in a mocking tone. Dadi yaar can't you forget, I said whining. She laughed and said mera bacha, how are you? She asked lovingly.
I'm fine darling, how about you? I asked. I'm super, she said I chuckled at her.
Beta I know your relationship with your wife is not good but I want you to give her a chance, she is suffering a lot because of you, dadi said.
Everyone is not the same, not everyone needs money, some need attention, care, love, and effort. She has been very nice in these 3 months. She replaced you in fact we never missed you.
Whenever we needed you she was with us in your place, dadi said.
She is so sweet for this world, you know she got a fever 2 weeks ago, and everyone was with her, but in that place, she needed you more than us, she feels guilty that she became your replaced bide, even if you would marry Archie she couldn't ever be like you wife, dadi said. Before she could continue I got a call. Hello, I heard a baby voice, I smiled and said Hi Riya.
Bhaiya, you came to India but you didn't come to meet me, she said in a cute voice. I chuckled at her cuteness and said I would be coming at 5. Ok, she exclaimed. I cut the call chuckling. Is it Riya? Dadi asked. I nodded.Always you both will chit chat, you both will never include me, Amu said pouting and sitting on the bed. Always you and Dadu will chit chat and will never include us, dadi said.
We are not interested in including old people, she said. Aww, you said old, maan catch her dadi said as Amu ran down even I ran behind her and she went near Dadu.
Dadu see bhai is beating me, she said pouting. Maan is this the way you behave with your sister, he said fake glaring at me as he knows I never raise my hand on her. Why are you scolding my grandson, dadi came behind glaring at him.
Teach your grandson some manners, he said. You also teach your granddaughter some manners, she said. What did she do? He asked. She called us old, she said. She said the fact, he said laughing.
They both started their bickering because of us and we both were standing together and laughing at them.
What is happening here, ma shouted.Ma, papa look at them, she said pointing at us as we were laughing. They both glared at us. Later we had lunch. Papa, Vikki, and she went to the office and Ma restricted me from going to the office.
