"Di, I don't want to marry him,in fact, I don't love him"
"Var vadhu ki maang sindhur se bhar de"
"You will not say anything to him, do whatever he will say"
"Leave that Abheer, and marry me"
"No way, I'm already married with Abheer"
"
...
Abheer sank into the couch, his fingers dancing over the screen of his phone, lost in a world of endless scrolling.
As night enveloped the house, the aroma of dinner lingered in the air, but the warmth of family had faded. One by one, everyone retreated to their rooms, aware that an early morning awaited them.
In the dim light, a familiar silence stretched between Naina and Abheer, thick with unspoken words. Naina felt the weight of her thoughts pressing against her chest. She desperately wanted to break the silence, but the words caught in her throat. Just then, Abheer turned onto his side, drifting off into sleep, leaving Naina alone with her swirling emotions.
Laying on her side of the bed, she stared at the ceiling, her mind racing. "Why did I say those words? Why can't I find peace without him by my side? What will I do when he's gone?" The questions echoed in her mind as she closed her eyes, drifting into a restless sleep, her heart heavy with thoughts of Abheer and the bond they shared.
NEXT MORNING
Abheer and Naina descended the stairs, each step echoing with anticipation. They were dressed to impress, and the moment they entered the room, a hush fell over everyone. Eyes widened, and jaws dropped as their beauty captivated the crowd. Naina's radiant smile seemed to light up the space, while Abheer carried an effortless charm that drew everyone's gaze.

They arrived as they always did, but this time there was an air of anticipation. Standing before Gayetri, they received her blessing: "May God keep you both happy and fill your (Naina's) womb with a child soon."
Naina's expression turned blank, caught off guard, while Abheer simply nodded, a faint smile playing on his lips.
As they stepped out of the house, the excitement was palpable; they took three cars this time, each filled with familiar faces and laughter.
In the first car, Rihaan, Simar, and Maahi chatted animatedly. In the second, Alok (chacha ji), Meenavati (chachi ji), and Gayetri shared stories, their voices mingling in the air.
In the third car, however, the atmosphere was different. Naina and Abheer sat in silence, the tension thick until Naina suddenly coughed.
Abheer, ever attentive, offered her water, but she shook her head stubbornly. When her coughing persisted, he gently insisted, forcing her to take a sip.
Naina shot him a glare, but he simply brushed it off, his focus unwavering. She couldn't help but steal glances at him, but when Abheer teased, "I know I'm handsome, but don't look at me like that," she quickly looked away, her cheeks flushed with embarrassment.
Finally, they reached their destination. Abheer sprang from the car, rushing to Naina's side with a sense of purpose. He opened the door for her, his gesture both gentlemanly and eagerly.
Extending his hand to her, he waited expectantly, but Naina hesitated, her gaze lingering on him, caught in a moment of uncertainty.
Abheer smirked, "So, we have to act like a couple, right?" Naina felt a flutter in her stomach as he held her hand, and they stepped out of the car together.
