Len's POV
Monday. First day of the new school year. Incontestably, the worst day of the school year. It was always the same too, just a repeat. The only difference was the new group of fangirls, fanboys and fanwhatevers.
I'm a J-Pop idol along with my friends, which isn't convenient for school, not at all. People were so obsessive and the favouritism was clear.
Don't get me wrong, I love what I do, the euphoria is such a rush. But it's a lot of effort and time and energy. It gets very overwhelming a lot of the time. But that's show business, that's how it has to be.
During class, I was taken out by one of the deputy principals. I wasn't really paying attention, I was half asleep from boredom.
Something about some new kid in my class. Show them around. Blah, blah, blah. I just agreed and went back to class. Well, I didn't. I went to the music room for a nap instead.
The whole new kid thing didn't cross my mind once, not until now at least. I'm waking home, my best friend next to me. He's going on about something random while I'm thinking about tomorrow. I've done this before, shown some new kid around school. Same start every year.
