Far away from the city and the country they call home, they could see stars that stretch miles away. Even with it being far late in the evening, the crowds were still bustling with people. Step after step, shuffle after shuffle, spects of dirt were covering the air. In a sense, this view could be seen as any other night market. However, with the tattered tents, items for sale, and most of all, the people who occupy those crowds, tells a different story. The mission was simple. Pretend to be a buyer and get into an inclusive auction. All he had to do was show interest in what the seller had to offer. What he didn't understand was why he, out of all of the members, had to do this.
He despised being in the field more than anything. He hated how humid it was and how the polluted air was entering his lungs. The people occupying the crowds needed to know a thing or two about hygiene because he had to go a week without it. For the reason being: to blend in. He wanted to scream and bash the leader's head for this outrageous idea. An idea that Chan claimed to be full proof.
"You better sleep with two eyes open, CB97. I will make it my living hell to kill you with my bare hands. Starting with that useless brain of yours." Seungmin promised.
"Oh hush, if you wanted to gut out my organs, then you wouldn't be there and I wouldn't be here."
"Maybe I should start with your tongue out instead. That way, I won't have to hear your annoying voice anymore."
"Sky, could you please stop plotting my boyfriend's death and focus on the mission." Jeongin sighed. "I don't want to be here either. Some of these people are giving me the creeps."
Jisung laughed. "Some? The whole market itself is a red flag. There's literally a dick missing a ball in a jar."
"Gross." Felix wanted to puke as the image appeared in his head.
Seungmin shook his head and continued walking through the crowd. "It should be the tent upfront." He heard Chan in his ear piece.
"Should?" Seungmin couldn't help but question the Australian's choice of words. "Are your eyes going bad already? Do you need me to set up an appointment with an optometrist? Better yet, gorge them out? It's not like you're using them efficiently anyways, and I could make some extra cash on the side."
Minho's laugh could be heard over the ear piece. He didn't care that people were giving him weird looks. The whole place was filled with insane people anyways. "That's a brilliant idea! Count me in." He said with amusement.
Chan had pushed for Seungmin to be the one on the field because the male seemed to know a lot about the location of the mission. He knew about how bad the air quality was and what to wear to blend in. The leader had a feeling that Seungmin had a lot of prior knowledge on the setting of their mission. So he also assumed that the grumbling male knew how to get around the busy crowds. They were on unknown territory and it was best to have someone who knew their way around to be placed undercover.
"Sky-"
"Shut it, I have a facade to put on." Seungmin approached the target. He pretended to be interested in the items the seller had for sale. He lightly grazed a thin blade but it was just enough to draw blood from him. "Your weapons are quite the quality."
The owner smiled. "Of course they are. They're the finest out of this whole market. Everyone comes to me when they're looking for something to kill."
Seungmin hummed. "How many would I be able to kill before it goes dull?"
"An infinite amount. You just need to sharpen it and it's good as-."
He gave the seller a displeased face and drew the blade, pointing it between the owner's eyes. "If I'm looking for something top notch and efficient. You think I have the time and pleasure to be sharpening my weapons?"
