Seungmin didn't know how long he passed out. But when his eyes finally fluttered open, he felt an extenuating pain at the back of his neck. He lifted his arm in an attempt to rub his injured neck. However, his wrists were bound by a chain attached to a wall. He grunted in both pain and annoyance as he slowly lifted his head up to check his surroundings.

Dark. Everything around him was pitch black. He was sure that he didn't have a sack over his head, so why was everything dark? He blinked his eyes a couple of more times to adjust his vision but he was still presented with nothing. Suddenly, he heard footsteps approach him. As the sound got closer, he heard a door open. An iron door. He made a mental note to himself as he prepared himself for what's in store for him.

"You're finally awake." He heard a male's voice. "Perfect timing."

The male footsteps came closer and stopped when he stood in front of Seungmin. He heard rustling but before he could pinpoint what exactly the sound was, he felt something pierce into his arm.

"Argh." Seungmin gritted his teeth. "What the fuck did you inject me with?!"

"Nothing crazy." The man lightly slapped Seungmin's face. "Just something we've been cooking in the back. Do you feel anything?"

"You drugged me."

"No shit, Dora." The man rolled his eyes. "Amazing observation. Now what do you feel? This is supposed to hit the market tomorrow and we have yet to find someone who didn't die from the first injection."

Seungmin scoffed. "I'm a billion dollar bomb and you're risking its life for some drug? Smart move."

"You yap too much for someone who's supposed to be high out of his mind. I assume that your body can handle another injection?"

Seungmin didn't bother to protest. He was bound to the wall and his body felt heavy. He couldn't escape even if he wanted to. So he sat still and waited for another shot and hissed when he felt the needle enter his arm. He started to feel sick and his head was throbbing. He could hear the guy talking but everything started to become muffled. Soon later he blacked out. This action was his hell loop. Everyday a new drug was shot up in his system and the next, he was out.

He lost count of the days and his vision was still pitch black. He heard the iron door creak again and it prepared himself to be injected with another drug. But whoever entered the room said nothing. He jolted when he felt them grab his arm.

"You're freezing." They muttered under their breath.

"Get your filthy hands off me." Seungmin attempted to jerk his hand away. "Just inject whatever shit you cooked up and leave."

"Do you not recognize my voice?"

"I'm high every day. I don't have the energy for that."

The figure frowned. He was standing right in front of Seungmin and couldn't figure out why the male was acting this way. "Do you not remember who I am?"

"What the fuck are you going on about? How the hell am I supposed to know who you are, if I can't see shit in this dark ass room?!"

"Min... What are you talking about? There's a dim light above us." The man paused. "Don't tell me."

"What? What is it?"

"Seungmin, I think you're temporarily blind."

Seungmin held his breath from shock. Blind?! "That's impossible. You're gas lighting me right now. I don't know who you are but once I get out of this you-"

"Seungmin, it's Ethan."

The binded male couldn't help but hysterically laugh in disbelief. "You? Ethan? Nice try motherfucker but that imbecile faints at a drop of blood. I could feel blood oozing down my neck right now. If it was really him, he would've fainted in horror."

"Whether you believe it's me or not, that's up to you. But I need you to cooperate with me so I can get you out of here."

Seungmin stayed quiet. If it really was Ethan, he wouldn't care if he dropped dead in a ditch somewhere. So him being out of character threw him off. "If you were really him, why are you helping me? I'm positive that you hate breathing the same air as I am."

"I..." Ethan tried to find the right words to say. "I don't hate you per say. Maybe I'm a bit jealous that my father gives you more attention than his actual son. But that's just me being petty. I never actually hate you. I just... I wanted to make things right after hearing what my father put you through."

Even if Seungmin couldn't see, he still has the ability to sense his surroundings. Feeling that his ankles weren't binded, he snuck his leg and struck it across Ethan's face. "Cut the crap. What's your real motive?"

"I'm not lying! Look, I know we aren't on the best terms but I never thought my father would get this far. When I heard what happened to you at the party, I knew that I had to get you out of here as soon as possible."

"Bullshit. You're just like your father! You knew what he was scheming the moment I stepped into his office!"

"Just because his blood runs through my body, doesn't mean that I'm like him." Ethan spat. "All I was informed about the party was that you were going to take my place as usual. He never spared a glance at me or told me his plans. If he did, did you think I would need you to pretend to be me?"

It took Seungmin a while to trust Ethan. From the moment he was dragged out of the streets, he told himself to trust no one. All of their words were lies and he only had himself to get through his hell loop. So when Ethan started spewing words that he hoped to hear years ago when he was child, stunned him. He imagined this moment countless times. So now when it was happening, he was second guessing everything.

"What do I have to do?" Seungmin sighed. He didn't know why he was fighting so hard against Ethan. If he was a man of his words, then he'll be a free man. But if he was bluffing the whole time and got him killed, then he'll just die. Either way, he would be free from this hell hole that he was forced to call home.
