Chan opened his mouth just to close it again. The room fell silent as they tried to rack their heads as to how to respond to the story. They were still trying to wrap their heads around the story that was told.

"Wait so... you and Jisung already knew each other?!" Felix gasped in shock. "You filthy little liars!"

Seungmin raised his hands in defense. "To be fair, I honestly didn't know that Jisung and Peter were the same person. Now, before you ask me if I'm dumb- no. I genuinely thought he could've also had a doppelgänger. I had my guesses but I wasn't one hundred percent sure until we found out his identity."

"I knew." Jisung started to explain his side. "But I was on the run and I assumed that Seungmin was in a similar situation."

"Was that why you defended him that day?" Jeongin directed the question towards Seungmin. He was referring to the time when they found out Jisung's background and history with their rival, Tae-uk. Everyone was hurt to the point where they turned their backs against Jisung. They refused to listen to his explanation and immediately cut him out of their lives but Seungmin was the only one who didn't bat an eye and ran after their friend. Enemy or not, Jisung wasn't his enemy so why should he follow suit with the trend?

"Even if I didn't know him prior. I would still do the same thing over again. Friend or foe, he never harmed me so why would I turn my back on him. It's only when he crossed me personally, I would hunt him down to no end and return the favor." Seungmin responded.

"Aside from that." Changbin started. "Could someone sum up the whole thing? It was a lot to take in so most of the information was going in one ear and out the other."

Jisung took the liberty to summarize the situation. He explained that Seungmin acted as a stunt double for The Nuls only child, Ethan. The leader of the group, Mr. Belinsky, took over ELX's shipping ports and suppliers. Outraged, the leader of ELX, Sabrina, took it upon herself to seek revenge by inviting the mafia group to her party. However, the party was a cover up for the auction she was hosting. She wanted to use Ethan as both a product and a hostage. But what she didn't know was that the Ethan at her party was actually Seungmin. Hence, she injected the weapon into the wrong person. At that time, Jisung was sent to extract the weapon and/or its creator. One thing after another, it led them to the present time.

Hyunjin clenched his fist out of anger. He was furious when he found out how the love of his life was treated when he was a child. Seungmin noticed his boyfriend's first turning white and quickly placed his hands over Hyunjin's.

"We're giving those motherfuckers a slow and painful death." Hyunjin swore. 'And this time, they're going to die for sure."

Without another word, the whole group started to get to work and brainstorm ideas as to how they would take down The Nuls and ELX. Ideas were flying but each one of them was shot down. They were slowly getting tired as nothing was working.

Chan got up and clapped his hands. "Alright, let's call it a night. We all need rest and we can come back to this tomorrow."

They all tiredly hummed in agreement and got up. Meanwhile, Hyunjin still remained in the room. Seungmin, who noticed that Hyunjin wasn't leaving, sat back down.

"It's been a long day. Let's go back, yea?" Seungmin said softly.

Hyunjin was flipping through files and jotting down anything that came into mind. "I don't think I can rest knowing that they're breathing for another second. I'll turn in soon- you can head back first."

Seungmin remained where he was as he stared at his boyfriend's actions. He shifted his eyes back and forth from the table filled with papers and the male's expression. When he had enough, he abruptly stood up and grabbed his lover's arm. When Hyunjin's actions came to a halt, Seungmin forced his body to face him. He moved his grip from Hyunjin's arm to his face, softly cupping it.

"My love, please look at me." Seungmin was trying to find Hyunjin's eyes. When they finally locked eyes, he gently placed a kiss on his lips. "I'm not leaving. I'm right here, standing in front of you. So make sure to hold me tight and never let me go."

After hearing about Seungmin's past, Hyunjin became anxious. He knew that Jisung had turned off the bomb from Seungmin but it was still inside of the male. His only thought was: the faster he created a plan, the faster he could reassure himself that Seungmin wouldn't disappear one day. He remained silent as he stared at Seungmin. Which made Seungmin worry since Hyunjin wasn't saying anything.

"My love?"

"Yea, you're still here." Hyunjin softly whispered as he pulled Seungmin into a hug. "You're right in front of me."

Seungmin returned the hug as he turned his head to give a soft kiss on Hyunjin's neck. He snaked one of his arms around Hyunjin's waist, while the other was gently panting his head. They remained in that position for a while until Hyunjin was ready to let go. When they faced each other, Seungmin smiled. "Let's head to bed."

"Yea." Hyunjin returned the smile.
