Liam's eyes gleamed with mischief as he watched Astrid handle Tiffany's minions with ease. He had a new plan, a prank to end all pranks. He would pretend to be interested in Astrid, gain her trust, and then reveal her "loserness" to the entire school.
He chuckled to himself, thinking about how gullible she would be. "Yeah, I can already see it - the poor, clueless girl thinking she's got a chance with me, Liam Ryder."
He sauntered over to Astrid, a charming smile plastered on his face. "Hey, Flynn, you're quite the fighter. I think we could have some fun together."
Astrid raised an eyebrow, her eyes narrowing slightly. "What kind of fun, Ryder?"
Liam's grin widened. "Oh, I think we could come up with something creative. But first, let's get to know each other better. Maybe I'll even take you out on a date."
Astrid's eyes sparkled with amusement, but Liam misinterpreted it as excitement. "Great, I'll pick you up at 7 pm tomorrow night."
As they parted ways, Liam couldn't help but feel triumphant. This prank was going to be epic. Little did he know, Astrid had a few secrets up her sleeve, and his plan was about to backfire in a major way.
As Liam walked Astrid back to her dorm, he couldn't help but think she had dolled up for him, trying to impress him with her looks and charm. He smirked to himself, thinking, "She's trying too hard. She's just a sore loser, trying to get my attention. But I'm not buying it. I'm just playing her to see how far she'll go."
Liam's thoughts were filled with condescension and amusement, but he kept his expression charming and friendly. He didn't want to reveal his true thoughts, not yet. He was enjoying the game too much.
As they parted ways, Liam couldn't help but feel a thrill of excitement. He was eager to see how far Astrid would go to try to impress him, and he was ready to play along. But little did he know, Astrid had a few tricks up her sleeve, and his game was about to be turned upside down.
As Liam watched Astrid disappear into her dorm building, he thought he had gotten away with his condescending attitude. But what he didn't know was that Astrid had seen right through him.
Astrid had noticed the way Liam's eyes gleamed with amusement, the way his smile seemed to say, "I'm playing you, and you're too dumb to notice." But she chose to ignore it, to pretend she didn't see the real Liam Ryder.
Why? Because Astrid was determined to stay low key, to avoid drawing attention to herself. She knew that if she confronted Liam about his true intentions, it would only lead to drama and attention. And that was the last thing she wanted.
So Astrid made a conscious decision to play along, to pretend she was oblivious to Liam's games. She would continue to be friendly and charming, all the while keeping her guard up and her eyes open.
For now, she would play the role of the naive newcomer, all the while secretly observing and waiting for the perfect moment to strike. And when she did, Liam Ryder would be the one who was left looking like a fool.
