Chapter 7:The Revelation

Liam watched in awe as Astrid stood her ground against Katherine's verbal onslaught. Few people dared to defy Katherine, but Astrid seemed unfazed. Her calm demeanor and sharp wit left Liam impressed.

But Katherine's patience wore thin. She whispered something to one of her associates, who nodded discreetly. Astrid, oblivious to the danger, left the scene, and Liam followed her at a distance.

Later that night, Astrid was ambushed by masked figures in a deserted alley. They quickly overpowered her and dragged her away.

But Astrid was not what she seemed. With swift, precise movements, she broke free from her captors and subdued them. Liam, who had been tracking her, watched in amazement.

The kidnappers, revealed to be working for Katherine, were shocked by Astrid's skills. "You're...you're not what we were told," one of them stammered.

Astrid's eyes gleamed with amusement. "I'm full of surprises. Now, tell me, how much did Katherine pay you to kidnap me?"

The kidnappers exchanged nervous glances. "Ten million dollars," one of them admitted.

Astrid's smile was chilling. "I'll give you twenty million to kidnap Katherine instead."

The kidnappers' eyes widened in shock, and Liam's mind reeled with the implications. Who was Astrid, really?

Liam seethed with anger as he confronted Katherine. "You kidnapped Astrid? What's wrong with you?"

Katherine sneered. "A mere ignorant girl dares to plot against me? I'll crush her."

She quickly called her father, explaining the situation. Her father's anger was palpable, and he immediately offered to pay the kidnappers to leave Katherine alone. But that wasn't enough. He called the school board, using his influence as a major shareholder to expel Astrid.

Astrid was stunned when the principal informed her of the expulsion. She rushed to Katherine, slapping her across the face. Katherine was about to retaliate, but Liam held her back, his anger boiling over. "First, you kidnap people, and now you use your power to bully? That's enough, Katherine."

Katherine shivered, taken aback by Liam's fury. Astrid smirked, calling her father and revealing the truth. Within minutes, the school's owner arrived, fawning over Astrid. The truth was out: Astrid was a billionaire heiress, more wealthy and powerful than Katherine.

Katherine stumbled, her hands trembling. Liam's eyes widened in shock, realizing he had underestimated Astrid from the beginning. He deeply regretted it.

Astrid's eyes gleamed with triumph. "You should have left me alone, Katherine. Now, let's see who's powerless."

The scene ended with Astrid standing tall, her true identity and power revealed, leaving Katherine and Liam reeling.
