Vinka the Fire Dragon

Vinka's Trauma

As Uax is comforting his eldest son Dustin, the rest of them wait as they do not disturb Dustin's mourning and grief. As Dustin's crying comes to a sudden halt, Uax frees him from his hug.

Uax: "You alright now?"

Dustin: "I'm ok. Thanks dad.

Uax nods at him. Tears from Torg's eyes begin to roll down his face and everyone notices this and try to poke fun at him for it. Uax forms a cheeky grin.

Uax: "Torg, are you crying?"

Torg: "Of course not. You're imaging things."

Adaline: "I see tears though."

Torg: "I splashed my face with water. That's all."

Ekia: "Sure you did."

Torg: "That's the truth!"

Ekia: "If that's the case, then why are you raising your voice at me? Why are you angry?"

Torg: "I'M NOT ANGRY!"

Uax laughs.

Uax: "That's enough mum. It's fun teasing him, but we need to go home."

Ekia looks at Torg and smirks at him. Torg frowns at her, trying his best to make her stop.

Torg: "Please, leave me alone."

Dustin begins wiping the tears away from his face.

Dustin: "Thanks guys. I needed that."

Fuki finds Uax and the others. After what Elois said about Golix, Fuki was worried about Uax and so left the house to check if he was ok.

Fuki: "Are you feeling ok, Uax?"

Uax: "Yeah I'm feeling fine."

Fuki's dismal mood is written all over her face. She is worried he is hiding how he truly feels.

Fuki: "Are you sure? I know hearing what Elois said about your father was a lot to take in for you. I don't know what's going on with Elois. She never used to be so paranoid before."

Uax: "I appreciate you coming all this way just to check up on me but I'm honestly feeling much better."

Everyone with Uax greet Fuki before they finally make it home together. Fuki is the first to enter the home before followed by Ekia, Adaline, Dustin, Torg and finally Uax. The instant Elois spots Uax, rapid regret kills her heart.

Elois: "Uax, I am so sorry of what I said earlier. I really didn't mean any of it.

Uax: "Don't worry about that. The only important thing that matters right now is Vinka. We need to make sure nothing happens to him."

Vinka finally decides to reveal his consciousness. Uax begins to ask him about how he feels and what he wants to do.

Uax: "How are you feeling, Vinka? Feeling any kind of pain?"

Vinka: "Not really."

Uax: "What do you want to do right now?"

Vinka: "I think I'll go to school."

Uax: "A lot has happened to you in such a short period of time. You have experienced far too much trauma for a child in such a short amount of time. You don't have to go to school if you don't want to."

Vinka: "I'll go to school. I think it will help me to clear my head."

Uax: "If that's what you want then fine."
