Meeting Leone was something I would never forget. We were about five when we met, but we still had our problems, my parents took me out to parks, and his sister took care of him. She was an amazing person.

“Leone, C’mon, Let's at least ask that family okay?” A girl with blonde hair spoke, holding the hand of a younger boy, he had pretty blue and brown eyes, As they walked up I couldn't stop staring at the boy, It was obvious he was a boy but I still thought he looked pretty. “Uhm excuse me,” The lady spoke I turned my head but didn't look away from the boy, “Have any of you seen a blue dinosaur toy?” She asked my eyes shooting over.

Smiling “I did, I did ma” I looked into mas eyes, She nodded.

“Can you show them where it was? And then come back okay?” I nodded, Though not letting go of Ma’s hand. “How about just you two boys, Is that okay?” I nodded slightly slower.

“Alright Leo, GO with him and get it okay? I'll be watching from here okay?” She was knelt to eye level, He glanced at me and then looked at her before just barely speaking.

“Promise you will?” I stood silently as she nodded her head. He let go of the girl's hand, stepping back. Glancing at the girl I quickly walked off guiding the boy toward the slides.

“Uhm, It should be over there,” I spoke pointing over, to the red slide, the little blue dinosaur toy sticking out. “Is that even clean…?” My nose scrunched as he returned, toy clutched in his hand.

“Uhm- No-?” He said as I stepped back.

“Can we clean it..?” My voice was quiet, I never knew what was wrong with me, I didn't like things that had dirt on them, or that I didn't know who touched them. My parents would say it's okay, But after watching other kids I felt weird or that others wouldn't like me for it. I was quiet during school, and soon Ma had me stay home and do school. I liked it that way, I knew everything, Ma and Pa were really good teachers to me too.

“Yea… We should clean it I guess.” He was quiet when he spoke, “We should let my sister know though. She may get upset if I run away..” I nodded, even though he didn't like the idea of cleaning the toy, he wanted to. “Let go” He had a soft smile, He looked really really pretty when he smiled, But this was a boy, I should like girls, not boys. I should ask MaMa why I think he's pretty.

“Ma,” I spoke moving in my seat. She turned looking at me. “Is it okay for a boy to like a boy?”

“Where is this coming from?” Her voice was the same as usual

“That boy at the park was really pretty, But My old teacher said only girls can be pretty.” My voice was quiet as I looked out the window, seeing the groups of people walking on the sidewalk.

Ma hummed, looking at me, “Well, Sometimes boys can be pretty too, same with girls, girls can be handsome, It depends on what they like” I nodded before she spoke again, “So did you like being with that boy?” I nodded, leaning down to try and undo my seatbelt when we pulled into the driveway.

“Mhmm, He didn't say anything mean, and he let me clean his toy for him!” Ma helped undo my seatbelt before Pa picked me up putting me on his shoulders. “He was really quiet though, But I liked that about him. Being loud is annoying.” I huffed as we went inside.

“Well His sister said that they would be going to the ice cream shop tomorrow at 12, She invited us to join as a thank you” I smiled.

“So I can see the pretty boy again?” Ma laughed as Pa set me on the couch. “And Ice cream? Can I get a swirly one?” I smiled as Ma nodded.
