Minerva didn't even look at her menu, instead she glared at the woman opposite her who in turn examined the menu, often commenting on things she'd think Minerva might like.
"Well I've decided. Now I take it since you spent your time looking at me in disgust, that's permission to chose your meal. Now I have an excellent choice for you, I'm sure you'll love. Not to mention it compliments the wine wonderfully." She closed the menu, her dark eyes meeting blue.
"Now really Love, try to enjoy yourself. Its not every day you get to enjoy a romantic meal with the most feared woman in our world." Bellatrix tilted her head to the side.
"Though, that could be arranged. Just say the words my love. Say the words and your wish is my command." Minerva remained silent, not giving the woman the satisfaction of an answer. That's what she wants, Minerva to bite. That's what she always wants.

"Oh Minnie, the silent treatment, really love?" Slight enjoyment erupted inside Minerva when she noticed the shift in the woman's mood. She was slowly becoming irritated.
"Minerva, tread carefully love." Minerva's eyes widen when she felt a foot toying with her own.
"I did warn you Minerva." The evil witch smirked, slowly running her heeled foot higher, dragging the heel against Minerva's skin.
"I will do it you know. I will take you right here if you keep up this behaviour." Minerva swallowed, she knew damned well the woman would indeed do it. Her heart rate increased, and her body began reacting, especially when that husky chuckle escaped her lips.

Minerva had never been so glad to see the waiter approaching them in all her life.
He spoke again in Italian, Bellatrix stopped her toying for a moment to place her and Minerva's order. The man clearly agreed with her choice, that was obvious by his joyous expression as he nodded away. When he left, Minerva felt her breath hitch as those dark eyes fell onto her once more.
"Now, are we going to have a conversation like civilised women?"
"What did you order me?"
"Oh that's a surprise Pet. Though don't worry, I know you'll love it." Bellatrix winked.
"You seem so sure of yourself."
"I'm sure of everything when it comes to you love. You're my greatest interest. Of course you knew that already, didn't you? Is that what excites you? Knowing that no matter what, you will always be at the top of my list? Is that the thrill?" Minerva made no comment, instead she shifted her eyes to her untouched wine.
"I could kill you so easily Minerva, I've had every opportunity to do so. I could kill You right now. Watch as your crimson blood stains your delicately smooth skin." Bellatrix reached for her wine and took a sip, Minerva's eyes fell to her blood coloured lips and watched as she licks them.
"I wouldn't dare of course, that would be one of my biggest regrets. You know that too, that's why you throw yourself in front of those little cubs of yours whenever you face me isn't it? You know that no matter what horrendous crimes I've committed I'd never have it in me to be the cause of your death." The woman clicks her tongue.

"That's the thrill of it, because I know you're in the same boat. No matter what torturous crimes I've committed you'd never have it in you to actually end my life. Face it Minerva, you and I are stuck in this toxic loop that just never ends. And wether you like it or not, you crave me as much as I crave you. You make me weak. And weakness is a problem. I can't afford to be weak, not now, not ever." Minerva met the woman's eyes.
"You make me sick." Minerva hated how this woman made her feel. How everything the woman just said was true. They are trapped in this toxic cycle of a love hate, passion filled loop, and there was no way out, other than death. That however was out of the cards at this moment, Bellatrix was an exceptionally skilled witch particularly when it came to a duel. No one stood a chance. The only possibility for Bellatrix to die was A, by natural causes or B, by Minerva's hand. The question however was; could Minerva actually kill the woman? Actually be the reason she fades into a cold distant memory?

Bellatrix reached for Minerva's hand across the table, bringing the woman back from her thoughts. The way the dark witch caressed Minerva's hand sent shivers all through her body.
"Do you even realise how beautiful you are?" That caught Minerva off guard, so off guard she could feel the heat rushing to her cheeks. Damned her, damn her to hell and back.
A smile broke out on Bellatrix's face, a genuine smile that made her look almost friendly and approachable.
"You're so adorable Minerva. So beautiful, so incredible. If only you could see what I can see." How could anyone be mad with that.
"You're not so bad yourself, when you're not killing or torturing people that is." That backhanded comment earned a wicked smile from the witch. Bellatrix didn't have chance to comment, as their food arrived. Minerva was deeply thankful Bellatrix wasn't in a killing mood, because for a moment their she did think the waiter was a walking dead man.
