Ellie's POV

*I woke up and checked the time, it was currently 7:19 in the morning and I looked beside me to find my "husband" had already left as usual. I sighed as I stood up, rubbing my eyes gently. I walked to the living room.*

*I'm having to adjust as a married woman from now on...I didn't ask for this, but I also don't want to disappoint my parents...I went to the kitchen and put some bread in the toaster, thinking as I waited for it.*

***?If "God is Love" then why is it a sin to be with her, my greatest love..?***

*My thoughts were interrupted when I heard the toaster ding. I snapped out of my thoughts and put the toast on a plate, grabbing the peanut butter and jelly jar and spreading them on the toast with a bread knife.*

*After I finished eating, I grabbed my jacket from the coat rack and then went outside to get some exercise and some fresh air. As I walked around the neighborhood, I noticed a familiar house.*

*Looking at it, all of the memories from the past started to fill me, this house.. this is where she used to live. All the sleepovers, the cuddles, the movie nights, the teasings, and the beautiful moments I spend with her.*

*I was snapped back to reality when a middle-aged guy suddenly went outside the house, looking at me weirdly. Oh, shit... he probably thinks that I'm sort of a freaky Stalker...*

*I quickly looked away, clearing my throat and walking LIKE QUICK. That was so embarrassing...now he thinks that I'm a weirdo. I walked through the neighborhood to try and move on from that situation.*

*As I was walking, I noticed what seemed to be a stray cat that looked oddly like Cookie, the cat that she and I owned when we were still together with its brown-ish fluffy fur and blue eyes.*

"God...everything reminds me of her..."

*I mumbled to myself as I walked to the nearby park sitting on one of the benches, watching the kids play around and people walking their pets, wondering what I should do next since boredom is eating me up.*

"I just wish there was a way. A way to go back to the past, to change the present and the future waiting for me..."

*I muttered letting out a sigh knowing that I chose this decision, I chose this path, I let the judgment of society control my life, the choice my parents wanted me to make and I can't do anything to change it now.*

*after a bit, I stood up from the bench, planning to go back home. While I was on my way towards my house, I suddenly stumbled across a post, and that's all I remember before everything went black.*
