I owe him so much.
"Do you want to run away from here with me?" Lucas' voice echoed in my head.
"No. I can't forgive the poachers. I can't forgive this place." I said, holding onto his arms. "Even if we run away, this place still exists. I want to put an end to this hunting ground."
"Okay." He smiled.

"Let's end it." He said, hugging me. "So that no one will feel this pain ever again."

"Leave you behind?" Lucas spoke, his eyes widening. "Oliver, what are you suggesting?"
I smiled softly. "Just as I said. Excluding Emma, there are seven of us who are severely injured. Leave us behind here. That would solve everything." I said, as Ray and the man stayed by Lily and Emma, "Those two could take Emma via the shortest route and everyone else could take the safe route you came by, the one that takes three weeks. If you don't have the injured with you, Nigel and Violet will be enough to protect everyone on the journey."
"No!" Lucas exclaimed.
"It's enough, Lucas." I spoke softly, "You helped us. You gave us knowledge, skills, a reason to live and a family. You allowed us to stay, and you fought with us. You don't know how much that saved us. You're the closest thing to a father we ever had. To us, you were a lifesaver, mentor, big brother and father."
Gillian smiled weakly, "Yeah. That's why we all decided." She spoke weakly.
Violet helped Sonya to sit up, "Yes, from the beginning. We're already prepared." Sonya spoke.
"We..." I spoke, my voice cracking, "Don't want to be a hinderance. So that you, Lily and everyone can live, please leave us behind."
