I watch with baited breath as the moving truck makes a full stop into the recently paved driveway, a minivan then pulls into the driveway right behind it. A woman with long blond hair gets out of the passenger seat just as a man with pitch black hair gets out of the driver's side. I am assuming that is the mother and the father. The back seats of the minivan then open, and I swear my breath is stolen right from my lungs, and my heart stops for a single moment. A boy with curly blond hair, and ocean electric blue eyes gets out of the car so does a boy with curly black hair, and icy blue eyes. They looked like brother's, and I really hope one of them is my soulmate. It takes every single ounce of courage that I possibly possess in my whole body to walk over to the new house, and introduce myself but before I can walk over there my mother comes out of our house with a freshly baked cherry pie.

''Mother where on earth did that come from?'' I ask rolling my bright emerald green eyes.

''I conjured it up but if they ask I baked it from scratch, you must go over there, and introduce yourself, one of those boy's is your soulmate, I just know it!'' My mother says smiling real big.

''Can you tell me which boy is my soulmate?'' I ask eagerly.

''Even I don't know that, I just know that one of them is, good luck sweetie, this is your destiny!'' My mother says handing me the pie, and slamming the door right in my face.

I roll my eyes again at my mother's antics, take a deep breath to calm my nerves, and walk the short distance from my front porch to the new neighbor's driveway.

They were so busy carrying boxes, and lifting heavy furniture they didn't even notice me.

''Excuse me!'' I screeched until the mom stopped in her perfect stiletto heeled tracks , and stared at me in genuine confusion.

''Can we help you?'' She asked in a very high pitched feminine voice.

''Yes my mom baked this cherry pie, you are our new neighbors!'' I say trying to smile innocently but again it probably came off as more of an evil smirk.

''Oh how sweet of her!'' The mom said gently grabbing the pie out of my hands as if she was afraid it was going to explode if she didn't get it away from me.

''I am Lily, the man carrying the giant television by himself is my husband Hayden, and the two troublemakers leaning on the garage door are our two sons Griffin, and Damien'' Lily says smiling a very sweet smile.

''Which one is which?'' I ask trying to study them intensely without them noticing.

''The blond one is Griffin, the dark haired one is Damien'' Lily says smiling sweetly yet again.

''How old are they?'' I ask, trying really hard not to seem too interested but probably failing miserably.

''Nineteen, come over here boys, and meet our neighbor!'' Lily screamed shrilly at them.

They both pushed themselves off of the garage door, and met us with no hurry at all when I on the other hand was dying to meet my future soulmate, whichever brother it was.

''Hi I'm Poppy, I am your neighbor, my mom baked you guys a cherry pie, I am eighteen!''I say just babbling incoherently at this point.

''It is very nice to meet you Poppy, and that was very nice of your mother to bake us a cherry pie!'' Griffin said smiling a thousand watt smile, and giving me his very handsome hand to shake, which I gladly accepted.

''It is very nice to meet you too Griffin!'' I say giggling like a stupid lovesick girl.

''It is also very nice to meet you too Damien!'' I say also holding my hand out for Damien but he just stared at me intensely, and refused to shake my hand.

''Damien shake this girl's hand this instant, don't be rude!'' Hayden demanded from under a very big box.

Damien rolled his icy blue eyes, but very begrudgingly shook my hand, and I immediately withdrew my hand after feeling like my hand had just been struck by lightening. Damien stared at his hand in shock as well which I assumed meant that he felt it too.

''I am so lost'' Lily said laughing uncomfortably.

''As am I mother, so are you in school Poppy?'' Griffin asks trying to distract everyone from the weird exchange his brother and I just had.

''Yes I go to the local community college but I am hoping to transfer to a real school next year, are you two in college too?'' I ask very eager to know both of their answers.

''Yes we will actually be enrolling in the local community college as well, just for a little while'' Griffin said, answering for both of them, I got a feeling he did that a lot, and that Damien was a man of little to no words at all.

''Oh wow that's so great! We will be seeing quite a lot of each other then!'' I said smiling awkwardly.

''Yes I suppose we will, we are definitely looking forward to it, well we should probably get back to moving in, again it was very nice to meet you Poppy!'' Griffin said giving me a thousand watt smile yet again.

''It was very nice to meet you guys as well, see you around!'' I said walking back to my house, and waving frantically like a lunatic.

I walked back up my front porch steps, and opened my front door but not before taking one less look at the two brother's, and my supposed destiny, and then closed it again, and sank to the floor right near the door. I felt so breathless, and confused.

''How did it go sweetie?? Which one is your soulmate??'' My mother said from right above me.

I couldn't even speak for a good five minutes, my head kept replaying the entire awkward exchange.

''I don't even know mother, I really don't'' I finally said.
