The next morning both boys were woken up to the sound of a camera clicking. Giyuu opened his eyes first and saw his father taking a picture of them sleeping on each other. Giyuu kicked him and then sat up. "You wound me Giyuu. But come on rise and shine you have school today." He said, he then felt Giyuu's forehead. "And you aren't sick anymore." He then retracted his hand and walked out of the room. Giyuu turned to Sanemi who was sitting up. "Did you sleep alright?" Giyuu asked. "Yeah, your bed is really comfortable." Sanemi spoke. Giyuu hummed. "Come on before the old man comes back." Giyuu said, without thinking he grabbed Sanemi's hand and held it. Sanemi's face heated up a bit as he followed Giyuu to the closet. Giyuu found a spare uniform for Sanemi to wear.
Giyuu let him shower in his shower and he used a spare one. Giyuu was laying on his bed while he waited for Sanemi. Sanemi walked out of the bathroom his hair still wet. Giyuu looked back at him, Sanemi was upside down to Giyuu but Giyuu could still see the wet dripping hair. "Go get me a towel." Giyuu said. Sanemi was a little confused and got one. Giyuu was now sititng up. He forced Sanemi to sit on the floor in front of the bed while he sat on the bed.
Giyuu started to dry Sanemi's hair. Sanemi was a little embarrassed that Giyuu was doing this for him. He looked up and Giyuu stopped. "What?" Giyuu asked. "Can I take you out on a date?" Sanemi asked. Giyuu's eyes widened. Before Giyuu could answer.
"And I thought you said you two were just friends?" Giyuu's father ruined the moment. Giyuu threw the towel and got off the bed. "Ask me another time." Giyuu said. Sanemi smiled seeing Giyuu's ears all red. He also smiled at the thought of Giyuu's eyes. They were so lit up meaning he was happy.
He got up and they both went to school. They spent their time together in the morning and then separated when school started. During lunch Sanemi was sitting at his desk with some home made food made by Giyuu's father.
He wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings. Then he heard. "Why is he here?" Someone whispered. Sanemi looked and Giyuu was walking up to him. "Wanna have lunch together?" Giyuu asked looking deep into Sanemi's eyes. Sanemi nodded and he got up and grabbed his food and phone and left with Giyuu. They went to their bench like they do in the morning and sat down and started to eat together.
"Soooo... hypothetically if I did agree to go on this date with you, what would we do?" Giyuu asked. Sanemi's face lit up. "Not sure, what would you want to do?" Sanemi asked. "Well there is a place I've been wanting to go to for a while..." Giyuu said. "Where?" Sanemi asked leaning in closer. "The aquarium...my dad used to take me when we lived in France but I've been wanting to go to the one here, but I don't want to go alone." Giyuu explained while looking away from Sanemi. Even though Sanemi could not see Giyuu's face he knew Giyuu was blushing due to his red ears. Sanemi smiled. "Then I'll take you. When would you like to go?" Sanemi asked. "We could skip our weekend session and go?" Giyuu asked as he had turned to look at Sanemi. "Is this your way of saying you want to go on a date with me?" Sanemi asked with a slight smile on his face. Giyuu got embarrassed and turned away. "I suppose." Giyuu said. Sanemi chuckled. "Then yeah, we can go this weekend." Sanemi said. Giyuu looked back at him, then the bell indicating lunch was over.
Sanemi walked Giyuu to class then rushed back to his. When he sat down and realized what he did his face heated up and he laid his head down. Giyuu sat down at his own desk and rested his chin into his palm and his face heated up realizing what he agreed to.
The rest of the week went by fast, and when it came to be Friday Sanemi had his retake test. He had spent the night before at Giyuu's house going over everything with him. Giyuu and Sanemi were standing outside the classroom after school. "You don't pass, I'm not letting you hang out with me anymore after school." Giyuu said. He was trying to scare Sanemi into passing. Sanemi gulped. "That isn't fair." Sanemi said looking at Giyuu. Giyuu shrugged his shoulders. "Just pass." Giyuu said as he was walking away to practice.
Sanemi walked into the classroom to take his test. At the end of it he had to wait while the teacher graded it. She smiled at the end. "Much better." She said showing him the new test with a 98% on it. He smiled and thanked her. He rushed out of the classroom and building. It was about time when the fencing practice was over. He rushed out of the school and he was happy to see Giyuu leaning on his car waiting for him. He raised the paper as he made his way to Giyuu.
Giyuu scoffed. "Guess you can continue to hang out with me then." He said. Sanemi was a little shocked to see Giyuu joking, because Giyuu doesn't seem like the type to even make puns or anything. He got in the car with Giyuu and were taken to Sanemi's home instead.
Giyuu checked on Genya's retake test and it was a much better score than before. Shizu thanked him as she was grateful for Giyuu. Giyuu went home a little early. "Going so soon?" Sanemi asked as they were walking outside. "Yeah, got to go to a diner with my family. We all get together at the end of the week when father comes back." Giyuu explained. "What about your mom?" Sanemi asked.
"Trust me we have to. No one can back out of it, but me. I always end up skipping them and that is why I wanted to go on our date on Saturday, that is when she is coming back." Giyuu explained rolling his eyes. Sanemi chuckled. "I'll see you tomorrow then?" Sanemi asked. Giyuu nodded. "See you tomorrow Sanemi." He said while walking to the car leaving Sanemi shocked. He was shocked hearing Giyuu call him by his first name.
He walked back inside and got an interesting stare from Genya. "Your going on a date with Tomioka tomorrow?" Genya asked. Sanemi realized the window in the kitchen where Genya was sitting was opened and is right next to where they were standing. "Can it." Sanemi said as he went to his bed room. He took a shower then when done he plopped down on his bed looking at the ceiling.
He smiled hearing his name in Giyuu's tone over and over again. He was excited for his date tomorrow. He went quickly to sleep.
At Giyuu's house after the dinner for Giyuu's father. Giyuu's father made him sit down on the couch when it was just the two of them at home. "So son, your mother is coming back tomorrow." His father said. "I know." Giyuu said. "So what are you doing tomorrow so I can make an excuse for you not being there tomorrow?" Giyuu's father asked. Giyuu was a little happy his dad wasn't going to force him to sit through that shit show. "I'm going on a date with Sanemi, I'll try and be back late to avoid her." Giyuu said. "Okay, you just enjoy your date and I'll send you live updates of how it goes." Giyuu's father said. "Father, how did a goof ball like you end up with mother?" Giyuu asked.
"Simple, I got the charms and good looks." His father said. Giyuu rolled his eyes and went to his room. He went to sleep a little excited for his date with Sanemi tomorrow.
