It was a normal day at school for Sanemi and Giyuu nothing special but after school practice there was an announcement from the coaches. "There is going to be a camp. There will be different schools there from all over. It is a week. You have to sign up, and give a form for your parents to sign. And sadly you have to pay. If there are any issues let me know and we can work something out." The head coach explained.
Kids mumbled and talked about it for the time being. Sanemi didn't want to think about the pay right away so he grabbed the paper and when he read the amount on it, he panicked a bit. He didn't want to let Giyuu know right away, first he wanted to go home and look through his savings and see if he could salvage that much together.
He sighed when he was at home and he didn't have the right amount. He knew he couldn't get what he needed in time. He would have to break the news to Giyuu since, Giyuu was excited about going with Sanemi.
He went to the bus stop and was able to get to another bus stop as close as possible to Giyuu's neighborhood. But he would still have to walk a bit. When he finally made it he pulled out his phone and called Giyuu.
Giyuu was sitting at the dinner table with his mother and father eating in silence. His phone vibrated and he picked it up and his face lit up as he read Sanemi's caller ID. "Excuse me for a moment." Giyuu said as he left the table. He went out to the living room and answered the call. "Hello?" Giyuu spoke. "Are you home right now?" Sanemi asked. "Yes." Giyuu answered. "Can you come outside?" Sanemi asked. Giyuu quickly understood Sanemi was outside. He hung up and rushed to the door and opened it. "That was quick." Sanemi said with a smile. Giyuu stepped outside and shut the door behind him and he was quick to hug Sanemi. "What are you doing here?" Giyuu asked.
"I need to talk to you about something." Sanemi spoke, Giyuu stayed silent waiting for Sanemi to continue. "I am not able to go to the camp." Sanemi said. "Did mom say no?" Giyuu asked. "No, she said I could. It is about the money. I don't have enough and I don't want to ask mom." Sanemi said. Giyuu hummed. "How about I pay for you?" Giyuu asked.
Money wasn't ever a problem for Giyuu. He had enough of his own to spare and he didn't need to borrow from his parents, but if he did they would let him in a heart beat. "I couldn't ask you to do that." Sanemi said as he looked into Giyuu's eyes. Giyuu had the look of determination in his eyes. Sanemi knew he couldn't change his mind. But he could try.
"But I want too. You'll just owe me compensation." Giyuu said. "Like what? It will take me a while to pay you back but I'll do it." Sanemi spoke. Sanemi got nervous when Giyuu's eyes changed. Giyuu was now looking at him with those siren eyes that sent chills down Sanemi's spine. "You can just pay me back in kisses." Giyuu said pulled Sanemi a little closer. Sanemi quickly understood and smiled. He leaned forward and kissed Giyuu passionately. They both stumbled to the wall and Sanemi pinned Giyuu to it.
The front door opened. "That is enough kissing. Sanemi either come in and eat dinner with us or go home." Giyuu father said before shutting the door. Sanemi chuckled. "So are you staying the night or am I driving you home?" Giyuu asked. Sanemi reached down to a back pack that was leaning on the wall. Giyuu dragged Sanemi inside and they went to have dinner. It was only the two of them as Giyuu's parents were already done.
Sanemi and Giyuu eventually went to sleep since they had school the next morning. As the house was dark. Two figures walked down the hall. "Why do you need to come?" Giyuu's mother asked. "I want to see my boy too." Giyuu's father spoke. They opened his door and were quickly met with only Sanemi sleeping in Giyuu's bed and before they could react Giyuu waked out of the bathroom. They just froze.
"Why are you in my room?" Giyuu whispered seeing both of them standing in the door. "Ummm, your mother has something to tell you..." His father said. His mother panicked a bit but then relaxed. "Well...I just wanted to say...Good night and I love you." She spoke. Giyuu just stared blankly. Truth be told he wasn't entirely awake.
"Ok? Love you too." Giyuu said. She nodded and walked out. "Night, Love you." His father said following his mother. Giyuu was so confused but go back int bed with Sanemi and went to sleep.
Then next morning as they both sat up in bed Giyuu said. "I had the strangest dream last night." He spoke, Sanemi hummed as he was not fully awake yet. They got ready and quickly left for school. That same day they both turned in their permission slips and paid.
The trip was only a week away and both were really excited. So it wasn't a surprise the day of the trip the two boys were up bright and early and met up at the school before everyone else. They sat next to each other and Giyuu even brought his favorite shark plushie.
A girl who was also on their team peaked over the seats. "Tomioka-san? Do you like sharks?" She asked as she had seen the plushie earlier. "I do." Giyuu answered looking up at her. "Who got you the plushie?" She asked. "Probably his hot French girlfriend!" Someone yelled from across the bus. Sanemi chuckled at the thought of Giyuu with a girlfriend.
"No, not a girlfriend, just someone special." He spoke. Sanemi smiled knowing what that meant. The rest of the bus ride was smooth and they made it to the camp near the afternoon. When they walked into the hall to get their room keys and schedule, someone bumped into Giyuu's shoulder as they walked by causing him to fall back and drop the shark plushie.
Giyuu glared at the fact his plushie got dropped only for someone to pick it up. "Shit, my bad." Someone spoke in French. The person helped Giyuu to his feet handing him the plushie. "Your French?" Giyuu asked speaking French. "Yes. And you are Tomioka Giyuu." They spoke. There seemed to be tension in the air as they stared deeply into each other's eyes.
The person scoffed and walked off waving Giyuu off. Giyuu scoffed and started walking to catch up with Sanemi who was watching afar while holding their room keys. "What was that about?" Sanemi asked handing the key to Giyuu. "Nothing important. Just some asshat." Giyuu said as they walked away.
