I got dressed and ready for my little bar date with MORGAN WALLEN. I still couldn't believe it myself. I don't know how I got so lucky. Who knew some small town girl like me would score a date with someone like Morgan Wallen. I called my mom over to babysit Betty. My mom couldn't believe it either. She thought I was joking at first until I showed her the DM. I gave Betty a hug and left for the bar.
I arrived at the bar and there he was. He had a tan hat on backwards and he was wearing a black t-shirt and jeans. I sit down at the bar next to to him and he smiles at me. His smile could light up a room. He was so hot.
"Howdy. You look gorgeous" he looks me up and down and I push some hair behind my ears nervously, trying to suppress a blush
"Thank you" I giggle a little before I look away from him. We order a couple drinks and we talk. He's even funnier in person. His voice puts me in a daze and I find myself barely able to listen to what he's saying. Until he mentions his son
"My son Indie is getting so big. It's been forever since I've seen him, but thats mostly because I've been on tour" He says, fidgeting with his glass. That caught my attention because I forgot he had a son
"My daughter is getting big too" I try to relate. Indie was a lucky kid... I kept thinking that to myself
"A pretty girl like you's got a daughter?" He asks, obviously a bit surprised
"Yeah. Her name is Elizabeth but I call her Betty. She just turned 1 about a month ago" I explain, also fidgeting with my glass. He nods his head, taking in the information
"She sounds cute. She's probably a beauty like her mom" he nudges me and I blush again, but this time, I don't try to hide it "I like your rosy cheeks" he adds, putting a hand on my chin to make me look at him. I blush even more and I try to look away, but the grip he has on my chin keeps me from moving
"Stop. You're my making me blush" I whisper, brushing my fingers through my hair.
"Guess I have that affect on pretty ladies" he chuckles and gives me his signature wink. I could tell this was gonna be an amazing night because its already amazing and it just started.
