He walks me to my car after our date and I stop before getting in. He grabs a hold of my hips and pulls me close.
"You know, I don't usually feel this way about my fans. Something about you has got me hooked. I hope I can see you again" he says, sounding really sincere, which was a different side of him that I've never seen before. He gives me one more smile before releasing me. I watch as he goes to his truck. I start to blush again and get into my car. I sit there for a few seconds before turning it on and driving off. I couldn't believe what just happened and I lived through it. Morgan Wallen not only invited me on stage, but he actually wants to be in a relationship with me. I think I'm getting ahead of myself... I mean, it was only the first date and he didn't live in Dallas, so it would be kinda hard to start a real relationship with him. But just knowing that he wants to turn this into something makes me excited for the future.
I drive home and pull into my driveway. I walk into my house and I see Betty in her playpen watching cartoons on the TV. She sees me and gives me a little wave. I wave back and I sit down on the couch.
"Hi Betty Boo. How's my little sweetheart?" I ask her, giving her a little head pat. My mom walks in, holding a bottle of milk.
"I was just about to put her to bed" my mom says as she lifts Betty out of the playpen and into her arms. She takes Betty to the bedroom and closes the nursery door "how was your date?" She sits down next to me and gives me her full attention.
"It was... Amazing. Better than I could even imagine" I tell her. I couldn't even put into words how incredible it was "he's an amazing guy and he just has this way of getting to you. He makes me feel a different kind of way than I've ever felt before" I add, remembering my perfect night and wishing I could relive it
"It sounds wonderful. I just hope his fame doesn't get in the way if you two are as serious as you seem" she says, placing a hand on my arm and I smile
"Don't worry mom. He wouldn't have asked me out if he didn't have a plan. He seems genuine and serious about this" I explain, giving a hand a gentle tap before I stand up "I'm gonna go take a shower" I give her one last smile before I head to take a quick shower and wind down for the night.
