Rosalyn's pov:

I stare, a bit surprised.

Infront of me was Aiden with a little girl in his arms. She had her hands playing in his hair adding some volume to it.

She had the same features as Aiden. The same shade of green popping in their irises, and the same brown hair. She was so cute too. She had those two pigtails and a little bow on each one of them.

I already fell in love with her!

"Who is she?" A small voice speaks.

I smile at her question.

"Hi! I'm Rosalyn and I'm Aiden's friend!"

She gasps and looks at her brother.

"What's your name?" I ask her itching to poke her chubby cheeks.

"My name is Lily, like the flower!"

Awwwwww, she was so cute!! How I love babies!!

"It's really nice to meet you Lily!" I go with a handshake. She mirrors my movement and I take her hand on mine.

And I melt right then and there. Her hand was so tiny compared to mine and she had cute hands and fingers, I don't know she was just so cute!

I grin softly and look over at her lucky brother.

"Hi!" I greet him all bubbly.

He just nods and opens the door wider for me to get in. What a buzzkiller...

I step inside and take my time to study my surroundings.

I was always curious about how Aiden's house looked like on the inside since I spent practically all my time watching him from my window.

The house was spacious, everything looked clean and tidy. The decor was meticulously chosen to match the feeling of the house. The living room unfolds as an open area with soft lightening on my left. To the right, there was a simple kitchen and dinner table. Directly ahead were the restroom if I'm not wrong and the staircase.

Lily is no longer in Aiden's arms and is currently walking over to me. She was wearing a cute set of pyjamas and was barefoot.

The toddler tugs on my pants and I crouch down to be at her eye level.

"Do you want to play dolls with me?" Before I could answer, her brother butts in and takes her in his arms.

"It's bedtime Lily." He says sternly.

She huffs but doesn't object. Aiden tells me to wait for him and he goes up the stairs.

"Bye bye Rosalyn!" She shouts from the strairs.

"Goodnight Lily!"

I sigh. I never thought Aiden had siblings. Our bedroom windows were facing each other so everytime I looked at his room it was either he was in it alone or it was vacant. I never saw his little sister wether it was on the street or his room.

I realized I never had the chance to meet his parents. It was like they were ghosts, I knew their existence but I never actually saw them.

Maybe his parents work late...

Seconds later, Aiden comes back his hand running through his hair making it neat again. He goes through on one of the multiple kitchen's cabinet and pulls out all sorts of snacks.

I grimace. I'm really hungry and eating all this food right now is really tempting but I resist the urge and hold my ground.

My palms already hurting from my bad habit of digging my nails in them. I'm so hungry I could die but like they say fat lasts longer than flavor. My blue eyes connecting with Aiden's green ones.
