Chapter 21

Austin

       I woke up in pain, I tried to move and I screamed. "Don't move Austin." I heard a voice say. "Where am I?" I asked. My ears were ringing. "Austin, stop trying to get up." "Mom, mom is that you?" I asked. "Yes, Austin, it's your mom." "Where am I?" I asked again. "Your home at the main house." mom said, putting her hand on my chest. "Austin, you need to shift back into your human form." mom said. "What?" I asked. "You are still in your wolf form, you need to shift back." mom said. "I have ringing in my ears mom. And how can you hear me if I'm still in my wolf form?" I said. "I learned to talk to you this way because for 6 months after you learned how to shift you wouldn't shift back into your human form." mom said. "Okay, How long have I been like this?" I asked. "Your father found you around sunrise and it's almost noon now." mom said. "Mom Where is Carson? I can smell her." I asked, I could feel tears in my eyes. "She's here along with Carter." mom said. "Are they okay?" I asked. "They haven't woken up yet." Mom said I could hear the sadness in her voice. "Mom!" I screamed out in pain. "Why can't I shift?" I asked in pain. "Mom, where is my son? Where is Atticus?" I asked, I could feel my heart breaking. "He will be here soon. So please just shift back." Mom said, as her voice cracked. Then I heard someone scream. "Carter, it's okay." I heard mom say, then I heard people running. "Mom, mom what is wrong. Is Carter okay?" I yelled out. "Austin!" I heard Carter call out to me. "Carson, No! wake up." I heard Carter yell out. "Luna, Luna please help my sister make her wake up please." Carter yells out to my mom. "Carter, I can't make her wake up." I heard my mom cry out. "Please Luna, you have to save her. Her son needs her." Carter cries out to my mom. "Austin, please save your son's mom." Carter cries out to me but I'm hopeless I couldn't even shift to save my mate. "Austin, get your ass up and save my sister you dumbfuck." Carter yells at me. Then I heard metal hitting the floor. "Carter, Carter, wait, wait." I heard my mom yell. I felt someone grab my fur. "Austin, you fuckin told me that you was going to make my sister your Luna." I heard Carter say, I was guessing it was Carter who was grabbing me. I growled at him.

Carter

       "Carter, Carter" A voice said. "Who are you?" I yelled out that I was afraid to move. "Carter, it's okay I will not hurt you." The voice said. It sounded so sweet, so nice, so lovely. It was a beautiful voice. "Who are you? where are you?" I called out to the Voice. "Carter I am the moon goddess and I need your help yours and your sisters" The voice said. "The moon goddess? Why do you need my help? Why do you need my sister's help?" I was curious why the moon goddess called for me. "Carter, you and Carson are special." The moon goddess said. "What makes us so special? we're just twins." I asked. "Carson, she is the key to open a lot of hearts and you are a warrior." She said. "If we're so special. Why did you make everyone hurt her, Carson never did anything wrong to anyone. You give her a bully as her mate?" I asked these questions that I needed answers to. "I needed her to be strong, she needed to know how it felt to be brokenhearted. Carter I had made each one of yall's mates special just like you all are." "Why did you choose us?" I asked very curiously. "I needed you and your sister to rule out the evil that has caused my werewolves to turn bad." she said with sadness in her voice. "Also you and your sister will bring back families that once were broken." she said. "Now I need you to go back and wake your sister up. She needs her mate." The moon goddess said as her voice was fading. I woke up a little confused. But I had to do what the moon goddess said. "Carson, No! wake up." I yelled to my sister. "Luna, Luna please help my sister make her wake up please." I begged. "Please Luna, you have to save her. Her son needs her." I said as I begged and pleaded. The tears run down the side of my face. "Austin, please save your son's mom." I cried out to Austin. I saw that he was still in his wolf form. The only thing that will bring him back is to curse at him. "Austin, get your ass up and save my sister you dumbfuck." I yelled at him. I need it to piss him off and this is the only way I know how to do it. Adjusting myself in the bed I needed to get up I was still a little dizzy so I grabbed the nearest table that was to me. It was metal. I pushed it over as I got up from the bed and the metal table hit the floor. I walked around Carson's bed. I need to get to Austin. Luna grabbed me "Carter, Carter, wait, wait." She yells. I placed my finger on my lips so she knew that I was not going to harm anyone. I wanted her to trust me. I needed her to trust me. I grabbed Austin by his fur. "Austin, you fuckin told me that you was going to make my sister your Luna." I yelled and my voice cracked and I heard him growl at me. I know he was mad. I know he was getting pissed but this is what I wanted him to do. Austin opened his eyes as he growled at me. His eyes were red. He was standing up on the bed. I stepped back. I just saw him grow 2 more feet in his wolf form. Then his eyes started glowing. He jumped up off the bed as he started to shift and into his human form. 'Good it's working.' I thought. Soon after he completely transformed into his human form. I ran up to him and hugged him. I stepped back from Austin. He looked at me then asked "When did you get a tattoo on your shoulder." I looked at him and said "I don't have a tattoo" I said. He grabbed my arm and said "Then what is this?" "I don't know. what is that?" I looked at the side of my arm. It was a tattoo alright it looked like the full moon With the moon goddess inside of it. I ran over to Carson and checked her arm on the same one. She had the same thing, the same tattoo. I heard metal hit the floor. I turned around to look at Luna and was on her knees crying. "You and Carson have been touched by the moon goddess." She said with happy tears. "Really I did talk to her." I said looking at the tattoo.

Austin

       I shifted and Carter grabbed me. He hugs me like he hasn't seen me in forever. Once he stepped back I saw that he had a tattoo on his left upper arm that looked like the full moon With the moon goddess inside of it. "When did you get a tattoo on your shoulder?" I asked, confused. Carter looked more confused than I did. "I don't have a tattoo." He said, looking at me. I grabbed his arm and asked. "Then what is this?" He looked down at his shoulder. We looked over to Carson to check to see if she had one and did on the same arm. She had the same tattoo. I was confused about what was going on. Then we heard metal hit the floor. We turned around to look at my mom. She was on the floor on her knees crying.

"You and Carson have been touched by the moon goddess." She said with happy tears. My mouth was open. I couldn't believe it, my mate was touched by the moon goddess. I started to cry. I wanted for her to wake up. My mom had already given me some clothes. I looked at the clock on the wall, 2:45 pm. I was hungry so I walked down the hall to the kitchen. "Uncle Scott, What are you doing here?"
