Chapter 4

"Hey bro, how's it going?"

Otis asked as he sat down next to Nick, who was waiting for Charlie at the school entrance.

"Oh hi, everything good, are you okay?" Nick replied cordially.

"Yes thanks, I wanted to invite you and Charlie to my birthday party this Saturday, it will be behind the woods at my house and we will set up tents and sleep there so if you like you and Charlie can come"

Otis said as he adjusted his glasses further on his nose.

"Oh yes of course we will be there"

Nick agreed, Otis was a good boy, the opposite of Harry.

"Oh and you have to bring the tents, Imogen will you be there?

The boy ask to the girl who had just sat down on the other side of Nick.

"Sure" The girl agreed and Otis returned to his other friends.

"So you're going too?"

Imogen asked the boy next to her.

"Of course Otis is a dear friend of mine and Charlie's, of course we'll be there"

He said, Imogen rolled her eyes, every time someone had a conversation with Nick one way or another he always mentioned Charlie.

“So… how are things with you and Charlie?”

Imogen looked at him carefully.

"Um like… like always… w-why?”

Nick blushed and looked down and Imogen noticed.

"No nothing just it was just to... know"

Imogen looked at him with a strange smile and Nick noticed it and gave in.

"Ok ok I don't know why but lately we often find ourselves in situation very..."

Nick left the sentence hanging and Imogen patted his shoulder.

"Do you feel new sensations like... I don't know butterflies in your stomach or the desire to hold him close and kiss him?... In the mouth I mean" the girl specified.

"They're not that new, I've always had them with him, well... I'm used to them by now"

Nick said nonchalantly.

"Um... ok you answered yourself, I should go now bye"

Imogen stood up and didn't give Nick time to ask her what the answer was and what those symptoms meant.

He thought about it all day, it was his fixed thought, he thought about it so much that he couldn't even concentrate on the most trivial things like rugby and more than once he hadn't seen the ball pass by his side or even his nose.
