Chapter 18: More Than Friends??

Enid's POV

It's night already, and I'm lying on my bed, replaying the events from earlier. My argument with Ajax, my breakdown, and... how hot Wednesday was!

I cover myself with my pillow, struggling around while squealing, remembering her encouraging words and firm touch on my body. I never knew she was so strong, but she is! EEEEEEEE! She was just so hot at the time, I just want to melt.

While I was having my fantasy, my phone buzzes, interrupting my thoughts. It's a group chat with Divina, Yoko, and Bianca.

I giggle at their chats, they're very sweet and I love them all platonically, but I'm not sure if getting wasted will particularly help with the problem.

I take a deep breath, trying to compose myself before responding.

Their messages make me blush, they always ship me and Wens together, but it's really nth like that. Although, thanks to their banters my mind keeps drifting back to Wednesday and how she made me feel, and her little stunt by the balcony, maybe there's something there?

I immediately get distracted when I hear a few more notifs popping up on my phone, immediately gaining my attention.

🐺Bitch#3🐺 (Enid): Well...Wednesday helped me today, and it made me realize some things-

The moment I sent that, the group chat just blew up right before my eyes.

I ask my eyes wide with disbelief, astonishment and frustration. Like seriously since WHEN have they been waiting?!?!

The chat goes to a halt and silence erupts from the gc, even I got curious as to what Vina's question was.

Then it hit me like a big ass boulder right to my face...DOES she like me? She's never given me a different type of affection other than friends should...but we've DEFINITELY had those moments where the mood was heating up.

Even I made a move..I mean I personally chalked it up as to me being sexually needy and frustrated at the time but then again...Wednesday Addams the girl who has NEVER liked physical touch had never hated me so much to what I had done so far..

I say, immediately putting my phone on DND (Do Not Disturb) so that I won't hear the notifs in the gc. They'll hear it from me tmr, I just can't put it in chat, Wens is LITERALLY my roommate and she might read my messages in the future!

My friends are so supportive, but their teasing and betting only add to the whirlwind of emotions I'm feeling. I close my eyes, trying to push aside the thoughts of Ajax and focus on Wednesday.

Her strength, her touch, the way she looked at me—it all felt so different, so intense. Maybe there is something there. My heart races at the thought. Despite the uncertainty, a part of me feels excited, hopeful even. Could Wednesday feel the same?

I mean...it's THE Wednesday Addams we're talkin about here, I doubt that she would have feelings for someone that's the LITERAL opposite of her.

As I drift off to sleep, I choose to take things one step at a time. Tomorrow, I'll talk to my friends and try to make sense of everything. But for now, I'll hold onto the memory of Wednesday's touch, her words, and the way she made me feel safe and cherished.

I let myself fall into a restless sleep, my dreams filled with images of her dark hair, cold eyes and comforting hands, and the hope that maybe, just maybe, Wednesday Addams could be more than just a friend.
