The light brought me back
From a death I did not know had occurred
You were that light, I realized
And when you looked down on me, you never said a word
You were silent as that death
That carried me swiftly
But you smiled and I heard those words never spoken
"You were who you were always meant to be."
And that is what had kept me alive, that's light
For your words, they lit a fire in my veins
And that has helped me fight
And that has made all the difference
