"Double shot, please." I smiled subtly to the barista. I managed to bump into Andy earlier. That's an early coffee date to start my day. :))))) <<< this is mico while thinking about it
"Hi again, our orders will come later. Sorry for the random invitation. Like I said, I wanted to thank you more formally for taking care of my cap." I explained to the person across me. "Hindi naman na kailangan, pero thank you. Free coffee for me, I guess?" she joked. "Sino may sabing ako mag babayad?" I went along. "Alis na pala ako." She got up slightly and I panicked. "Hoy joke lang grabe naman!", "Joke lang din." And then gave me a smile that almost stopped me at my tracks. Eme mo self.
"Ah anyway, I figured that the cap is significant to you, 'no?" I nodded at her presumption. "Very, I wear it everytime." I smiled warmly at her. "I'm glad I was the one who kept it, then." Oh, how charming she is. I could daydream right now. "You're smiling.." Yet I saw a grin forming when she spoke. "Ikaw din naman."

"You know.." I began making a sentence to the person I was with. "—I would've never expected going out on a stroll with you." "Certainly not at this hour." I kicked a rock with my foot while still centering my attention to the woman beside me. "Did you expect someone else?" She asked. Teka lang, nag p-pout ba 'to?? "Bakit, selos ka?" I teased. "Depends.." Her eyes focused on me. Meanwhile, yung mata ko kung saan saan na nakarating pero hindi siya maharap. "Naalala mo pa ba?" I asked, driving us away from the tension earlier. (but Andy was the only one that felt it... maybe) Her eyebrows knitting at my question. "Ang alin..?" I smiled internally that she's oblivious of the first day we met. Yes, at the bus. "Ah, wala.. Yung time lang na nakalimutan mo yung cap mo." She chuckled then. "Ahhhhh, I don't tend to misplace things naman. Nakaligtaan."
"I like your eyebrows." I blurted. Oh no.. "I like your smile." Her reciprocation somewhat made my heart flutter. "Were you this charming?" I said. "Were you this charming, Andy?" Was it ever this hot..? It's humid, yes. But why did my face heat up? "Andy" "Andy?" "Earth to Andy?" I snapped back to reality after being called 3 consecutive times. "Sorry, I spaced out.", "That happens."

"Well, here's my stop." I turned my head to Mico. "I'm looking forward on spending time with you again. Perhaps, another stroll?" Ngiti niya—na nakakahina. "Of course, Ingat ka ha?" —don't forget to text me when you get home. I almost added. "You have my number naman na 'di ba? I'll update you once I get home. Only if you want to.." Her voice getting lower and lower. "Okay, much better. Bye, Mico." I gave her a softer smile. "Bye bye." She waved. Lord, I thank you for this day.
