THE SUN IS STARTING TO SET BY THE TIME THEODORE AND OLIVER LEAVE THE HOUSE. The gelateria they are going to is only about ten minutes away. Pietro's green Vespa is parked on the driveway. Theodore moves the kickstand and gets onto the scooter, putting the key into the ignition and starting up the engine. Both of the helmets—the main one and the spare—are hanging from the handles. He passes the spare one to Oliver, who puts it on, before grabbing the other one and putting that on his own head as Oliver gets onto the seat.

Oliver has his arms wrapped around Theodore's middle, having a tight hold on him as the Vespa speeds down the road. Getting more comfortable on this ten-minute ride to the gelateria as the minutes pass in silence, the Brit rests his chin on the Italian's shoulder. It takes everything within Theodore not to flinch.

There was something so special about this very moment that made Theodore's stomach do somersaults. Maybe it's the fact that Oliver has his arms around him, or the fact that Oliver is resting his head on his shoulder, or the fact that Oliver is even here with him right now in the first place.

He honestly doesn't know. But whatever it is, oh, God, he wishes it wouldn't make him have butterflies.

As the gelateria comes into view, Theodore brings the Vespa to a stop. Putting the kickstand down and taking the key out of the ignition, he parks it by the bike rack. Unclipping his helmet, and leaving it slung around the left handle, Oliver doing the same and leaving his on the right handle, the boys head inside.

"Ah, Teddy! Benvenuti, benvenuti!" Alessio greets, waving to the blond. Noticing Oliver with him, he greets him as well. "Ciao, Oliver!"

"I told him about you," Theodore says to Oliver, noticing the confused look on the brunet's face when Alessio said his name. "Besides, who knows who you are anyway. He watches the races."

"Really?" Oliver's impressed. "Oh, neat! I have a fan!"

"The entire world knows you. Shut up," Theodore says as he elbows him in his side. Oliver grimaces and rubs his side as he follows him over to the counter. "What do you want?"

"Hm..." Oliver looks at the various flavors, walking back and forth of front of the case multiple times before shrugging. "Too many options, can't choose. Can I just share with you?"

Theodore rolls his eyes. "Okay, you indecisive bitch. It's really not that hard to just pick a flavor."

Alessio listens to their playful banter, an amused look on his face. "Ready?"
