It was a casual friday night, the rain poured down heavily, the streets were crowded with people rushing to their destinations, their umbrellas creating a sea of color against the gray sky. The sound of car engines roaring, taxis honking, and people chattering mixed into one noise altogether.
Two strangers walked in opposite directions, one carrying an umbrella, and the other a black coat over their head. A gust of wind blew past each other, and their gazes met for a split second. The feeling was unexpected and all of a sudden.
They looked back at their tracks and continued walking. One thinks for a moment and then stops in his tracks, he rushes back to the girl he saw and runs through the heavy crowd.
He looked at her for a moment then tapped her shoulder and asked. "Excuse me, have we met?"
