I woke up at 5:30 with a strange feeling. My throat was dry and it felt very scratchy. I got out of my bed to go get a drink but I felt really horrible. Not that I was feeling sick, but I was feeling very wet. I peeked down and saw that my sheet had a huge wet mark and my briefs were soaked. I had wet my bed.
I couldn't believe it. Out of all the nights to wet the bed, it had to be tonight. I would've had better odds in winning the lottery, but instead here I am standing in soaked briefs. I started to remove the sheets and clean up the wet spot. But I needed a cleaner. Unsure as to where they would be kept, I went to check in Jimmy's room, where his bedwetting supplies were kept.
As I was walking in the hallway, I bumped into Carl's mom. "You ok", she asked. A bit nervous I nodded my head, yes. "Do you need anything", she asked, " a drink or a book or something". Embarrassed, I mumbled something unintelligible. "What", she asked. "I had an accident", I stuttered. She glanced down at my briefs and saw that the white crotch of my brief was now wet and yellowish. "You poor thing", she said as she gave me a hug. "Go take a bath, I'll clean everything up".
As I was soaking in the bath, I realized that I hadn't brought any clothes into the bathroom with me. I was unsure as what I should do, when there was a knock on the door. It was Carl's mom. "I'm coming in", she said. She entered the bathroom and proceeded to ask me how I felt. She said that I must be sick and she'll bring me to the doctor later.
As I got out of the tub, I asked her whether she brought me some underwear to wear. "Not exactly", she said. "You see, I don't want you to have another accident, so I brought a pull-up for you to wear instead of your regular underwear". I must've given some expression of distraught. So she said "They aren't so different than your regular briefs". "Look they both cover the same parts and both have pictures". "So what are the differences, that your briefs have spiderman on them, while the pull-up has mickey mouse"? "The only real difference is that the pull-up has absorbency and the fade when wet design", she finished. "But that's what makes it a diaper", I exclaimed. She just laughed me off. "No one will care". She helped me into it and sent me off to bed.
