Continuation from the previous story Twelve Shades of Green

Astraea ran towards the seashore, she looked back at Lottie smiling and pointing.

"Wait love, don't go in without me!" Lottie called. "The water is cold mum!" Astraea exclaimed. "It is? Ah, you're right!" Lottie picked her daughter up and walked into the cool salty water. "No mum!" The little girl cried. "You'll be ok." Lottie tapped Astraea on the nose, she wrinkled her face.

"I hope a crab doesn't pinch me like last time." They hung around in the low tide before retreating to their beach towel. Astraea wrapped herself in her pink towel. Lottie laid back onto the large spread out towel.

"Mummy, what happened to your belly?" Astraea asked. Lottie touched her stomach and fidgeted with her wrinkled skin. "Their stretch marks love, I got them from when you were inside me." She said, even with the marks she proudly wore her favorite swim piece, which fit perfectly.

"I'm sorry mum." Astraea apologized. Lottie sat up and settled her daughter onto her lap. "Don't be sorry darling, I don't care about it one bit, I love you." She squeezed her little girl who laughed as Charlotte attacked her with kisses.

"I wish Kimmy were here." Astraea pouted. "She's busy love, but we can play. Lottie smiled.

"Charlotte?" Someone said, Lottie looked up and saw a very familiar face. "Posey?" Lottie was stunned, she hadn't seen Posey since the summer of 2002. "Why how have you been?"

"I've been well, oh you have a kid now?" Posey asked, bending over in a dark red bikini.

"You look fantastic, and yes this is Astraea."

"Beautiful name, and I know, Murdoc got me it." Posey brushed her hair back, just as they began talking a little girl with two ponytails wearing a purple bathing suit ran up to her. "Mummy, Mitzi and I want to go in the water but Faust doesn't." she complained.

"Ok." Posey sighed. "Whose this?" Charlotte asked.

"Mahalia, we all call her Hallie, I have two others can you believe it? Ruined my stomach, Murdoc says it makes me look curvier though." Posey sighed, Mahalia wrapped her arms around Posey's leg and nudged her face onto her.

"Oh she's so adorable, she looks like you and like him." Lottie said. "I know, so how have you been?" Posey asked.

"Fine, for a while I wasn't, it was hard you know, this girl right here... Oh where is..." Lottie noticed that Astraea had gotten up with the pebbles she found earlier and was showing them off to Mahalia.

"How cute." She said. "Whose her daddy?" Posey asked. Lottie looked up at Posey and made a face. "Wait, is it Stuart?" Posey didn't look too surprised.

"So that's why you disappeared." Posey said. "What?"

"Sorry, you see after you supposedly "disappeared", Stuart was a bit upset so we took him down to the seasides to cheer him up, he's gotten over that now though."

"Oh." Lottie felt a bit bad. "Was he really that upset?" She asked. "Well kinda, but apparently according to Murdoc after the band had a bit of split, he went home to his parents so he was gone for a long while.

"I tried calling him because couldn't reach, now I know."

When Lottie found out she was pregnant with Astraea she was really devastated like anyone in a situation like she was in would be, she didn't know what to do and was in a stressed mood for a whole month before making the decision to keep her baby, even with Kimmy by her side it was difficult. She called her estranged mother to try and settle things between them, but upon learning of the pregnancy she instead just made things worse and feeling more shittier, she even tried calling 2D to tell him the truth but of course with him being out of Kong with the only number she knew and needing him to know first, she couldn't, so it had just been her and Rae for that time, it was hard at first but she loved Astraea very much.

"You look like an elf." Astraea commented, touching Mahalia's pointy ear, Mahalia giggled.

"Rae be nice."

"It's alright, she is an elf." Posey laughed.
