🩵 Baby Blue (2D x Lottie Perry fanfic)

2D meets Astraea

A couple days passed after the beach encounter. Lottie and Astraea were at home, Rae was setting up memory cards on the pink carpet. 

"I hope you sorted them out harder this time love, ya making this game too easy." Lottie said. Just as they were about to start, someone knocked on the door. 

"Oh, who could that be?' Lottie stood up to answer whoever came knocking. 

"No mum, come back." Astraea begged. 

"Hold on darling, lemme just see who's come to visit." Lottie assured Rae as she opened the door. She smiled to say hello, but was shocked when she saw who it was. 

"Stuart?" Charlotte pushed the door back a bit, her eyes widened, the singer smiled when he saw his old short term girlfriend. 

"Ello, long time no see?" He said, Lottie smiled and laughed a bit. "Thank you, your hair looks a bit different, it lookede a bit purple before." She commented. 

"It did? Gee I never noticed." 2D replied, scratching his head. 

"So how have you been, it's been so long." Lottie asked, although it really hadn't been that long. 

"Well uh, Posey said she saw you a couple days ago, and she also said you had a baby." 

"Yes I did, she's four years old so she's not much of a baby now." Lottie laughed. 

"I figured that's why I didn't see you for so long, I'm sorry Lottie, I shoulda worn protection." 2D said. "I shoulda known better too, but I love being her mum." She explained. "Would you like to come inside and meet her?" She asked. 

"Of course." 2D replied. "We were just getting ready to play a game, go play with her." Lottie said, sitting down on the couch. 2D sat on the floor in front of Rae, she looked like a little version of Lottie, with the same honey colored hair and green eyes, she looked up at the singer confused. 

"Hi there." He smiled, behind it though he was worried she was going to be scared by his appearance. Instead she stood up and smiled, touching his hair. 

"Mummy his hair is blue!" She exclaimed, a humongous smile appeared on her little round face. "I know!" Lottie clasped her hands together. "Do you like it?' 2D asked. 

"I love blue!" She squeaked, tugging at his hair a little hard. "Ah! Ok!" He laughed, holding Astraea's arms. "Careful darling!" Lottie said, reaching out to Rae, the four year old fell back on her bum. 

"Whatcha playin?" 2D asked. "Memry card.' Astraea replied. "Oh I loved that game! What does it ave?" 

"Little critters." Rae replied in the cutest voice ever. "Aw, Lottie she's so cute!" He cooed. 

"I wish I had seen her when she was a baby." 

"I have pictures love." Lottie left the room to get Astraea's baby photos. Astraea put a card down and looked up at the singer again. 

"Do you know my mummy?" She asked. "Yeah, we were really goof friends before you were born." 2D explained as he figeted with one of the cards, he looked at Astraea rearranging the the cards. "Astraea, can i ask you someting?" Astraea nodded, still focusing on the cards. 

"Do you know your daddy?" He asked. Astraea looked up at 2D and down again, shaking her head. He thought for a moment if he should tell her, and it dawned upon him to just do it because she needed to know the truth. 

"This is probably a bit awkward but... I am." 2D revealed, he took a deep breath and waited for the response, surly she would not believe it, or want to, being seeing she was so young he didn't know what to expect out of her. 

There was a long pause from the little girl that lasted a couple seconds before a smile crawled onto her face. 

"Your my daddy?" She stood up and wrapped her little arms around his neck. "Daddy!" She said gleefully. 2D's heart stopped, he did not expect that, but was happy for it, he smiled and embraced her back. "I love ya girlie." He whispered into her ear. 

Lottie came back downstairs carrying the little photo album with half the pages inside full of photos of Astraea when she was a baby. 

"Here we are.." She stopped when she saw her little girl and the father she just met for the very first time on the floor still embracing. 

Lottie lit up, it made her so happy, 2D meeting his illegitimate daughter was not as difficult as she'd expected. 

Ever since that day 2D made an effort to be a part of Astraea's life, he needed her there anyway, he was already struggling again with Noodle being missing, having this little girl while his other little sister figure was out there somewhere was sort of a relief, however he still worried about where Noodle could be. All was well for a couple years, but as 2009 rolled around, another rift would occur.
