Chapter 3:Slaying Demons Like There's No Tomorrow!

Dave,Skull and Surge go out demon hunting to help clear stuff off of Dave's mind about AJ, the group find a bunch of demons coming out of an alleyway "Just in time!" Dave says as he pulls out his his sword and begins to charge at the group of demons, Skull has this worried look on his face as sees Dave charging at the demons without thinking so he quickly charges with Dave and then Surge joins in too to make sure Dave doesn't get himself killed or losing himself to that power they fight the demons. From the distances away from the battle a figure stands on one of the buildings watching from above, "Dave.....you've changed so much.....you're not yourself anymore...." the figure reveals to be AJ watching Dave, Skull and Surge fight the group of demons tearing the demons apart. AJ sheds a single tear as she watches Dave closely, he seems fine but she notices a red glow in his right eye like it detected her watching him. Skull snaps a Demons neck and rips its head off throwing the head down as the blood squirts out, Skull breathes in relief "There we go we killed some demons now for we celebrate with root beer." Skull and Surge cheer except Dave, he seemed like he was staring into space like he was hypnotized by something, "Davey........someone is watching us..." the voice echoes in his ears, Dave quickly turns his head looking at building from the distance he just stares at it the same building AJ was on but she is gone, Dave hears this ringing in his ear like he tuned out the noise but soon snaps back into reality when Skull places his hand on Dave's shoulder shaking him and calling his name "Dave my guy you alright?" Dave shakes his head and looks at Skull "Oh...yeah just spaced out that's all..." Skull sighs as he looks at Dave with this serious look on his face "Look man I know something is wrong with you we just mentioned rootbeer and we hardly heard anything from ya you usually get excited about that but nothing....we are are worried about you man if you wanna talk it me and Surge are here for you Dave..." Dave thinks for a moment and then looks at Skull with this sad look in his eyes like he wants to talk but then chooses to say nothing "I'm sorry guys I think I need space for a while I just ... .got alot going on I need to clear my head..." Dave starts to walk away from Skull and Surge as he heads off Surge mask changes to a dark blue wanting to say something but Skull stops him "Let him be....he needs time on his own that what he needs..." Skull looking at Dave as he continues to walk away thinking if Dave will ever be himself or this power will take over his mind and corrupt him forever.
