NO ONES POV: "Y/N! I AM GONNA LEAVE YOU IF YOU TAKE TOO LONG!" The little boy shouted out to you as you quickly put on your shoes, "Coming!" You replied running to the boys side. The boy smiled and ruffled your hair, "Took you long enough you little pipsqueak!"
The boy then took your hand as he led you to the forest where you both would usually spend your times together. "Let's first go to the lake." The boy suggested, you nodded in agreement as you both walked through the forest.
As you both reach the lake, you sat down beside while the boy picked up a few rocks and started to throw them on the lake. The boy turned to you and gave a wide smile, "Hey pipsqueak, wanna make flower crowns?" He asked, you nod watching the boy pick a few flowers and walking over to you.
He gave you a few flowers and took some for his own as you both started to make flower crowns. After a few minutes, the both of you finished making the crowns, yours was white and the boys were yellow. "Here, lemme put this on you." The boy leaned closer, placing the flower crown on your head.
You smile before placing your flower crown over his head, "It looks pretty on you!" You happily exclaimed. "Well, what do wanna do now?" You asked as the boy pondered for a moment. "I know! Let's pick up some acorns and feed them to the little squirrels!"
He replied, your eyes sparkled with excitement, "Alright, let's pick up some acorns!" The both of you then started to search for acorn trees, "Hey Y/N! I found a tree!" The boy shouted out to you, grabbing your attention.
You went to his direction, only to see him climbing the tree and picking some acorns. He started to throw a few acorns onto the ground, "Let's get at least 20 acorns for the little squirrels." The boy said, picking the acorns and dropping them to the ground.
You slowly started to pick up the acorns and held them in your hands as you waited for him to finish picking out the acorns. Once he was done, he climbed down the tree and went over to you. "Come on, let's feed them to the little squirrels." He said, taking your hand. _______________________________________ Once you both reach a big tree where the squirrels used to live, you and the boy started to lay out the acorns on the ground, and quickly went behind a bush as you both started to watch the squirrels climb down the tree, they then started to much on the acorns.
"Aww..they look so adorable!" You whispered to the boy, "Well your more adorable pipsqueak." The boy stated, ruffling your hair affectionately. You both spent more time together, wandering around the forest and doing more adventurous activities.
It eventually became dark, the sun was setting. You both were walking down the mountain going back home, you held onto the boys hand gazing at the ground and humming. There was a moment of silence before you decided to break it.
"You know Inosuke-nii..your my best friend, my only friend." You said looking at the boy who stared at you. He looked a bit surprised after you said that, "Your my favorite, and I love you!" You smiled widely at him.
The boy stared at you, before grinning and giggling. "Of course you love me! I am your big bro and the best!" He exclaimed proudly, wrapping his arm around your shoulder pulling you closer.
"And if anyone messes with you, I'll kick their butts!" You smiled at his words, returning your gaze back at the ground. Once you both reach back to the estate, you saw your father waiting for the both of you by the porch.
"There you two are! I almost thought you both got lost." Douma chuckled patting both your heads. "Don't worry otou-San! We were just playing by the lake and feeding the squirrels!" You exclaimed.
Douma smiled, taking both your and Inosuke's hands, "Alright, why don't you both tell me your stories inside?" Douma said as you and Inosuke hummed in response. ___________________________________________
YOU QUICKLY WOKE UP, your face tear-stained, panting and breathing heavily, you were sweaty as you sat up on your bed, your eyes darting around the entire room. You clutched your shirt as you tried to calm down. "Damnit...another one of those dreams..."
You muttered to yourself as you sighed, you looked at the clock and realize it's midnight, you hug your knees to your chest wiping your tears. You stared at the mattress of your bed before you started to sob.
You cover you mouth with your hand, burying your face in your knees as you cried and sobbed. "I am sorry....I am so sorry Inosuke...otou-San..I couldn't help you both.." you sobbed painfully, wishing you were there to help your family.
But now their gone, and there's nothing you could do about it. ___________________________________
