Just.. harry.
I never figured a complete stranger who started acting like my therapist could play such a big role in my life.
I realized as I pulled over on the side of the road that day he's the one I call for anything. Whether something is wrong or I just need someone to hang out with its always him.
He told me to meet him on the pier and so I did. He took me to a huge rock and we sat down and looked at all of the little kids playing on the lake.
All he does is look at me. With squinted eyes because of the sun and his jaw clenched. His hands are folded in front of him resting on his crossed legs. He looks so curious. The poor kid has no clue what's going on but he's so patient to find out.
"Blake is moving. To chicago." I say and his head snaps up and he nods slowly.
"So will she be back?"
My eyes fill with water begging to let the tears go.
"That's the thing I don't know."
He frowns thinking for a minute.
I hit my forehead to keep from crying.
"It's just been an extremely rough couple of weeks."
"It's obvious." He says leaning forward and bringing his thumb across my cheek wiping a tear away.
I bring my hand up grabbing onto his wrist and hold his hand there closing my eyes.
"Please don't let go of me." I whisper and he looks at me with sorrowful eyes and brings me in for a hug kissing the top of my forehead.
"I won't."
