Atone. Overhaul redemption

A alarm went off as cries where heard. A male with maroon hair groans annoyed sitting up as he sat there contemplating his actions. The alarm went off again as he stood up going to the door and exiting.

The hallway was dark and empty no one seen as he goes next door.

Inside is a crib with a mobile hanging over of stars.
Soft whimpers and crying heard from the crib as he walks over.
Looking over a young infant laid in the crib as they cried silently.
It was a girl as her tears fell down her cheeks. Opening her eyes her tears subsided as she lets out soft whimpers.

The male sighed as he reached to pick her up. Immediately she calmed down.

Groaning he goes back to his room.

The next morning he woke up to see the infant sleeping still but she was nibbling on his finger.

Tensing he carefully yet swiftly pulled his finger out and grabbed wipes in disgust.

This man was none other than overhaul and he somehow managed to get his hands on a baby.

That he named Vera.

Eri sat next to midoryia and Mirio as she was coloring with a small smile but she soon slowed down as her smiled faded.

Midoryia who noticed spoke up first.
"What's wrong eri?"he asked as Mirio looked up from his drawing. Eri hums nervously.
"I'm worried about....him"she said. Midoryia and Mirio look at each other.

Both where upset they failed to arrest him But there was nothing they can do but promise he won't find her.

"You're safe here"Mirio smiled.
"Yeah plus we'll be here to protect you once again"he chimed.
"B-but what if...he finds someone else..."she said softly "what will happen to them..."
Mirio and midoryia went silent.
"Then we'll save them too!"mirio said standing up.
Midoryia smiled and nodded.
"Yeah!"

Eri looked up at the two with hopeful eyes.

"And...they'll be like...my sibling too"she said with a soft smile.
"Yeah and sister or brother!"Midoryia said as he rubbed her head. "You would make a great sister"
"I would?"
"Yeah I mean I already see you as one!"mirio beamsd.
"Me too!"Midoryia added. Eri looked at them happily as she turns back to the drawing of her, aizawa, Midoryia and mirio.

Eri beams.
"Yeah!!"

Overhaul sighed as he looked over some files all of it having eri's information.
Without eri the succession rate of the purification of quirks has decreased.

Going to get her would be an unnecessary hassle...

He glanced up at the infant.
Chisaki had her in a clean carpet with a pillow to keep her elevated. She had wooden shapes surrounding her. Picking one up before opening her mouth.
Chisaki narrowed his eyes in disgust as he removed his glove and placed a finger on the desk as it shaped the wood to move towards the toy and move it away from her mouth.
He then shaped the desk back to how it was.
"It's filthy,"he stated, annoyed.

The door opened as a lower member walked In. He paused seeing the baby playing by herself.

"What"chisaki voice said making the man turn to him quickly. He clears his through before he fixed himself.
"Well it's about eri, boss..."
"What about her?"he said. Placing the papers down looking up.
"We've gotten some intel and photos of her"he said pulling out files.
"I don't need photos where is she?"he said the paused as he opens the files and looked to find the written information.
"She's at UA under eraser head's care"he read out loud.

I was right too big of a hassle not enough resources.

"I see. We will hold out on getting eri. Now leave"he said the man turned to leave but stopped when the baby lets out a groan. He looked back at chisaki nervously.
"W-well Sir have a question-"
"Yes"he sighed not looking at him.
"That baby..."
"What about her"he said going back to some papers.
"Why is she here?"he said. Chisaki glanced at the infant as she threw the toy down as she watched it roll to the man who picked it up.
"Here you go-"
"Don't give it back!"he said as the desk changed and stabbed the man's arm. He lets out a pained cry as blood drips out.
"Now the floor is filthy..."he said walking over to the infant as he picked her up.
"Do you know how long it took to sterilize everything"he said annoyed.
"Please you're hurting me-"
"Be quiet"he said placing his hand on his arm and returning his arm back to its form. The man stumbled forwards as he hugged his arm.
"Clean this up it's disgusting"he said walking out of the room with Vera in his arms.
For some reason his skin didn't break out much when he held her.
"You've become quite close with the baby"said a voice. Chisaki looked behind to see krono walking towards him.

"No, I just know that I'm is the cleanest one here,"he said casually. "Vera will get germs if sick"
"I thought naming her was a bad idea"
"Calling her baby was getting annoying,"he said. Vera hums as she began to nibble on his tie. His skin crawled as he took a deep breath.
"You seem to be more patient"Kronos said as he bends down to look at Vera.
"It's a baby...that's what I remind myself"he said with a sigh as he slowly removed the tie and threw it over his shoulder. "they are naturally filthy but it's up to me to keep them
Clean...however they can't help but spread their filth..."
"Slightly on topic we need to get more items for the baby"Kronos said casually.
Chisaki sighed, annoyed.

"Very well let's go shopping"he said as he turned to krono hums and followed.

Aizawa walked with eri in the mall as she happily picked out some toys for her. Midoryia and Mirio had joined in as they walked beside her.
Aizawa got a call as he looks at his phone.

"I'll be back don't wait on me I'll find you "Aizawa says.
"Oh okay"midoryia responds as the three watched him walk away to answer.

"What is it?"he sighed
"Where are you"a familiar yet worried voice said.
"I'm at the mall like I said. Eri is doing well and I wanted to reward her and let her have some fun with mirio and midoryia-"
"Are they still nearby"
"I stepped away to answer the call-"
"I need you to get out of there but act like nothing is wrong"
"What's going on"
"Overhaul is there-"
Aizawa hung up and turned to rush back to the store.

Midoryia smiled as he was placing back a stuffed animal on a shelf.
"I don't like that color"said a familiar voice. Midoryia froze as he stayed still.
"It's too bright. It sickens me looking at it, put it back"overhaul said.
Midoryia glanced to see overhaul in the next aisle as krono placed back a dress.

'That size is too small for eri... does this mean...'

Midoryia's eyes widen as he saw in overhauls arms was an infant.

'Who is that where did he get her?! Are there more children I failed to save?!'

He glanced back to see overhaul walking out.
"Nothing here is good enough we'll try the other one you informed me about" he said.

Midoryia watched them leave as he goes back to mirio and eri.
Trying to keep the energy up he simply smiled.
However mirio immediately knew what was up.

Aizawa walks in a while later.
"Eri how are you feeling ?"
"I'm having so much fun I got some toys"
"Good let's get them and head home I forgot some task i had"he said.

Overhaul sighed as he rubbed the back of his neck in annoyance as he sighed.

"And here I thought I could hide for a little while longer..."
